You should've left it outside as a goblin pesticide.

WHAT IS THIS. Countless forts and I have barely an Ettin, but this one fort is now on it's THIRD forgotten beast.

Well, second. One was a desert titan. But still.

Aye. Megabeasts are pretty rare but Titans and Forgotten Beasts are very common.

Well, I hit my first titan recently, too...  A flying, scaly... thing.  I don't remember exactly.

I hadn't quite setup my army yet, so I sent in my militia commander, my only military dwarf up to that point, with his *artifact* steel spear and *artifact* badger leather shield(yeah, I could probably get a masterful steel shield but it wouldn't be as badass) and immediately stabbed the thing in the face, killing it instantly.

In response, I nicknamed my new Urist McBadass after his first kill: "Titan".

Got one bronze golem yesterday, he was kind enough to walk over a bridge. I pulled the lever and let him fall straight into the river below. After this I digged a chanel to the river and placed a Cagetrap at the new entrance to my fortress.

Now I have a caged bronze golem and am thinking about some ways to use him.

Is there any way to order my dwarfes just to chop his arms (6 of them...) and legs of without hurting his head? I placed his cage in a seperate room, saved and let my military dwarfes fight him. I tried this 5 times but the best I got was 3 chopped of arms, until one of my axedwarfes chopped of his head...If I let my dwarfes fight him unarmed he kills them. In the end he ist still a freeking powerfull golem...

Btw, if I got rid of his arms, use him as practice object and my dwarfes hurt him somehow, is he able to heal himself?

Yeah, I made like 4 random squads and sent them on him. After losing about 10 dwarves they finally managed to kill him. Then they butchered and ate him.

Why did you kill him?

Catch him and try some fun stuff. I think elves will like your titan as well (uncaged next to their trade depot)
