So Sedna's been surveyed?

Canada suggests long-range observation for a period of time before making direct contact with any alien civilization.

No, the majority voted for going to Alpha C.

ERROR. THERE IS NO ALPHA CENTAURI C. PROXIMA IS NOT TRULY IN ORBIT AROUND EITHER OF THE STARS IN ALPHA CENTAURI. INVALID DESTINATION.  :P

Besides, Proxima's too tiny for any decent planets, and it's tempermental. X-ray flares an' all that.

That is why Canada will provide volunteers who are willing to have their minds uploaded. The ship's mind will be human. Also: SKYNET 3? There was a SKYNET 2?

As Mediator I would like to point out SKYNET 2 was responsible for nearly crashing an asteroid the size of a large moon into earth. It was renamed SKYNET 2 after it's destruction becouse of the popularity of an ancient film series where the main AI antagonist went by the name of SKYNET.

Would anyone else like to reopen the discussion on our first destination? And please remember that FCP is yet to be decided, peaceful is in the lead at the moment but not by a large margin.

Have any terrestrial planets been discovered Alpha Cen A or B, Tau Ceti, or Epsilon Eridani?

((OOC: If there haven't been any new extrasolar planets discovered this far into the future, humanity's really taken a big step backwards.))
