Just started playing and I'll probably join the guild whenever I get back on. Wonderful game.

EDIT: Also are there any crafting materials that I should hang onto as opposed to sell?

Depends on what you want to craft.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Back with another question, sorry for the double post.

So I've tried to sell some spare materials I don't need on the auction house and the prices seem to be all over the place and there are no bids on anything. Am I just trying to sell the wrong things (IE not materials) or is there some trick to finding good prices for materials, or what? I want to make some cash but it's hard to do when I can't seem to decipher the market. Not that I'm terribly good at it to begin with, but

Also I still haven't gotten an invite to the guild, should I send a tell again? Or does it take a while sometimes?

Seriyu, you might be on at weird times like me. I never see anyone else from here on there.

Not sure what time zones everyone's in but I'm on in the afternoon in CST.

And the first thing I sent was a mail, not a tell, as I wasn't aware tells existed, so it should be hanging around in an inbox somewhere.

Unless I made a typo. Hmm.

Quoted from one of my earlier posts:

Quick and dirty guide to AH pricing:
FOR RAW MATS

1) look up the thing you want to sell (ex: blue shards)
2) change sort to "buy price"
3) take that price, take off 1-5 crowns for your buyout price.
4) post your offering. I usually do a start bid of 50% of my final price.

Generally speaking, you don't see bids on mats. People just buy them outright.

Ohhhh okay. Thanks AlStar! I'll give that a shot. And I will begin relentlessly nagging the invite people with /tells.

Edit: WOW, Me and a friend just beat the snarbolax or whatever it's called. He was freshly joined, his first dungeon, I only had a calibur aside from the other maxed out starter equipment. I died like three times and he died twice I think. :P

Awesome fight and awesome music. Hell of a welcoming party.

Looking for tips on how to make a quick 900-1200 crowns, I'd like a calibur to complete tier 2 attunement, but don't want to waste energy running tier 1 twice to get back.

And then, they will be weaponized. Like everything in this game, from kittens to babies, everything is a potential device of murder.
So if baseless speculation is all we have, we might as well treat it like fact.

If you complete tier 1, making sure to clear every map, you can get about 2800 crowns. Even more if there are more auora/graveyard/treasure vault.

Or just go to AH and sell mats!

Edit: Went through Copper Serpent Gate T1 tonight, got over 4500 crowns.

SCREW YOU GIANT ADORABLE GUNCANNONS!
They are pretty simple to deal with, even the ones that shoot homing missiles. So long as there are no melee foes around you can danmaku to hell and back around them.

Pretty sure Wolf is talking about the new T2 bosses - they're a pair of giant gunpuppies.

i'm finding it pretty easy to manipulate the short term resource market in the auction house. I made about 40,000crowns by buying any cheap brimstone and owlite feathers for 2 hours and then doubling the price.

It would work for most resources, but I just arbitrarily chose those as it seems that they have less turnover. Obviously it requires a healthy initial investment and carries risk which I offset by doing on a busy sunday afternoon. I am still always on the lookout to make money on CE, but with the 2% premium that sellers pay it has been hard to find more than a couple of opportunities.

example: I find brimstone with a buyout of 120 and I buy it. I then relist it for 200 starting bid and 225(or 240 depending on market) and it sells within the hour.
