To the question why we need players if it is a suggestion game: Players can (and should) take controls of squads. Ofcourse you could all keep this to a suggestion game but then its no strategy and might end in chaos

The fireteams arrive back at the base after scouting the area, fireteam 1 actually found a river not even 200 metres away from the current position and brought 47 rations of water with them (If you want you can actually change the position but then you wont have the mountain behind you giving you the ability to dig into it and have an easy resource of stones). Fireteam 2 reports that apart from some strange sounds they found some unknown kind of plant, it yet is not known if it is toxic or anything, better have the medics take a look at it. The engineers and the rest of the troopers have already managed to set up 10 small and 5 big foxholes, if they need to theyll try to dig more but it seems pretty useless as in arround 36 hours there will be more materials incoming. (3 turns). Also 2 tents have been set up, one for command and another one for medical use. Rest of the HQ and QRF team has secured the area.
