I do not wish to dictate anyone's foreign policy. Gasket is a free trade hub, and ships from every nations are welcome to use it on their trading journey. As such, I will not prevent Arcadian merchants bound for the Steel Empire to use it.

Let it be clear: there is no such thing as a New Empire blocade of the Arianis.

At the same time, it pains me from seeing the very same people that insults my Gnomish friends and threathen the Free Republic dine of Brentish fish roasted over Brentish coal on a table of Brentish marble. As such, I'll ask my custom officers to prevent any of my merchants to trade with the Arianis (Until they fullfill our agreement), but also to prevent them from trading with any nations trading with the Arianis.

As I said before, I do not wish to dictate anyone's foreign policy, so I won't force my vassals to follow me on this decision, but I would appreciate their supports.

But, I would like to point out that Ari-Ani is how you pronouce the pural. Are-ani is how you pronouce the singluar.

Ariani doubles for the pural and singluar forms. Just a tip so you don't make your self look like an idiot in my peoples eyes .

I think he read it as "Sheb doesn't mind if people trade with John".  What I assume you mean is "Sheb won't trade with anyone who trades with John".

I wouldn't call them sanctions, since we'll be losing as much as the people we sanctions. We're jsut not stupid enough to feed the hand that's going to bite us.

Now now Sheb. You alone are far more valuable as a trade partner, than Johnfalcon. Hence the odds are good people will choose to trade with you, over him. This means its only really John who loses. John who I might add, has been goaded by your alliance into being hostile.
