if i were you i'd wear that quote on my signature.(edit:you'll probably have to trim it a little, for it to fit)
i think it's safe to say that you won dwarf fortress

also, for your adventuring exploits, look into the latest dfhack, specifically, dfmode

i was looking at it and thinking about how one could reduce the quote to fit into a signature, then it came to my mind that the most relevant parts are also slightly spoilerific, and flaunting them around would decrease the chance of this happening again, so i advise against it...

So, I found the fort in adventure mode. I came off the travel map inside my above gorund animal pen. which has no exit, 'cept through the base. Can't leave on the travel map, so I -have- to progress. That's interesting.

I smell a story. Lol.

Nevermind. I got down to where my farm was and a demon killed me before I could even react. lol.

....They just refuse to stay down unless butchered, in which case their skins will haunt you until you subdue and tan them. Never has legendary butcher and legendary tanner seemed so valueable as in this release.

Wonderful read also I got a fool proof plan for when I see cotton candy(explore the forums more you'll understand what that means) When I find the sweet cotton candy I will make stone piles each level down when I open up the Circus I have my miner dwarf run to the stone and make a wall preventing the clowns from making ballon animals. That is mah plan :D
