Our WH always static links to high sec, but it is a crap shoot where it ends up. If you hop on and get on our channel we will tell you what system you need to get to and have some one meet you at the whole. A good rifter setup is really nice, since they are our low end pvp ships.

Life in the wormhole has been interesting. It seems like ours always links to high sec and another wormhole. I always make it a point to go into those WH and at least visit all the combat sites. Our whole seems to be constantly dried up, I don't think we have had a gravo site in the last week.

We've lost a few ships and chased off some other already.

I'll be on (Thrawn in game) in a few hours if anything needs to be done.

Just dropping by to let you guys know I'm still around and active but work has been killer lately and I've had next to no time for EVE. Should be on some Friday-Sunday.

Kind of points out a flaw in our current member base. We pretty much rely on Forsaken/Psionist to do all our market stuff.

We need to get some other members able to do perfect refines on at least Ark and Bistot (not sure if those are special skills) and get someone who can set up orders with minimal taxes.

Even if I only dropped in once a week, I could still run stuff out and sell it then. The refinery stuff isn't too hard, the intensive refinery has a 75% base return so the skills necessary for perfect refine aren't as bad as in stations.

Well... That was fun.  But not !!Fun!!.  I started trying to get the feel of scanning down stuff.  Found a couple things in a hi-sec system like an Angel Watch and an old ruined Minnie station (probably the one ol' Gammie died on. =P) .  I'm having a hard time with the whole 3D thing.  I keep dragging the probes on the wrong axis and then after losing the contact and moving the camera, realize why I've been wasting time! Doh. I'm starting to get a hang of it though.  I did find a wormhole.  I let to 0.0.  I followed it into Breech (I think) and right on White Noise's doorstep.  No one seemed to be home.  I jumped a few systems, realized how far from home I was, and decided it would be easier just to find the same hole (I purposely didn't bookmark it).  I scanned it down and went home.  Very uneventful.  I think I saw like one other pilot out there and he was probably a sleep, or ratting, or mining.  How boring. =P

Anyway, its the weekend so I'll try to hook up to vent and learn where the heck you all are later this Friday.

Some keys that help with scanning: Holding SHIFT while moving a probe will move all of your probes. Holding ALT while moving a probe will move all of the probes in or out around their centerpoint. Helpful and time-saving.

Hell yeah, that's helpful and time-saving!  And will probably keep me from losing yet another year of life to the frustration. =P

So, I'm trying to make up a support ship, since I usually load up another toon with a salvager/tractor beam ship for missions, and made up a Noctis with said tractors/salvagers but also probe launcher and cloak to just sit there/where-ever.  Has anyone done any archeology/hacking?  Should I drop an analyser and hacking module on the Noctis?  Or is that more like mining where you decide to do that and that's what you do rather then it be an "oh look! an archeology site!"?

I usually kept a codebreaker/analyzer on my exploration ship but really how to set up your ships is half of the game and you will find as many opinions on it as players.

Just as a note, my internet's being really really cruddy lately so I'm probably only going to log in for the bare minimum of eve until it starts to get better. I think they are working on it so maybe it'll be better on the weekend or later on.

News!  The lonely taco stand may or may not be online.  It's apparently operated by a corp called Battlestars, which Malakev, one of the onlines, was in.  But his alt was kicked for inactivity(found a thread) and at least one of the other two people who were there wasn't in that corp either.  He showed up in a thrasher after awhile, with enough warp scramblers to disable me, then they played around for awhile, keeping me at hull levels before eventually destroying my retriever when an iteron V showed up.  Before podding he said "EVICTION NOTICE SERVED"

I get the feeling they don't want us around.  I also get the feeling that, in system, they don't have a lot of firepower.  Some tier 2 stealth frigates, and I was killed by a myrmidon and a thrasher.  Probably my fault for not paying 100% attention when nothing happened for awhile, so I didn't notice he was there til he was in range to start shooting.  Probably it was just a few people were online, since that corp as a whole seems like it would have a lot of strength and backing.

That's my report and opinion for now.  I guess I'll head back in once I know where our new entrance is at.

Oh, sounds like we're in for some !!FUN!!.

EDIT: Naturally, the WH that was in Chesiette has closed. I'll just have to wait until someone scans down the new exit and then make the trip there. Hopefully it's not too long...

Let's see your warrant on that eviction notice, buddy.

What a bad end to the week. We are going to have to take security a lot more seriously now, it isn't like we have a lot of firepower either. How did he get your pod? HIC?
