Name: Desmond Blue (Blue)
Background: Desmond Blue is a young man from the inner rim-travellin' to the outskirts of civilized space to make a new home for him and his wife, Erin. Touchin' story, ain't it? Problem is, while he's a damn good tracker, being he served in law enforcement while living on Hera, and brought many a bad man (or woman) to justice (or the approximate thereof), he's sort of soft. Got all these high fangled notions about honor and the goodness of man. It'll be a shame to see him so roughly educated out here in the rim. It's a story we all heard often enough, and often enough it ends badly for em, but I got a feeling he can make do. Call it hope.

-Well, Blue has himself a icy demeanor, but not too intimidatin'-just your friendly neighborhood police officer, with the attitude to match-sort of a diplomat, real calm too. Nothing don't shake him...fast as hell on the draw too. Scary fast, I mean. Thankfully, he mostly uses his skills in contests, shooting clay plates and whatnot.

Course' hes got eyes like a falcon,as well-Blue's says it's cause his momma made him eat so much carrots when he was younger. All them Vitamins with the different letters, you know.

Now that you mention it, he's into alot of that healthy livin' crap-don't eat red meat more than once a week, 3 beers maximum, exercise regulalry...I'd prolly kill myself if I had to go on like that, but then again, he's can run and jump like a jackrabbit without being winded, which has it's advantages.

-As I mentioned, He's got a lot of strange notions...a real straight shooter, morally speaking. Doesn't know nothing about laying low, embellishing the truth or playing it safe. He's the worse card player I ever saw...not that he isn't a sport about it, and he keeps on playin' and losing...Oh? him and his wife are a real nice couple. They say love is the only thing that keeps the 'verse flying, for them it's probably true.

His kind don't really last long out here, and that's a damn shame.

Name is Cyrus O'Malley. He came to this planet so he could set himself up as a businessman. Business isn't the greatest in this podunk town, but, hey that's life. He owns the local general store and can usually get a nice deal from the traders. He don't care much for fighting, 'specially when it comes to a fair fight.

He is somewhat tall with a slight build. He is a bit of a schemer but generally has a good-natured attitude and will refuse to do something if it would mean a lot of folk would get hurt.

I'll need help on my skills though.

I guess I can make my character the "Security Specialist", then? Works for me. It will be a lot easier to build and roleplay. Actually, I'd probably only pick out the assets and complications of my character and his gear, since I don't really know the system, and ask for help with the skills and attributes.

@Dwarmin Yep, 42 attribute points, standard for Greenhorn.  Traits cost or give asset points.  You spend 2 or 4 points for a minor or major asset respectively and get 2 or 4 points for a minor or major complication respectively.  You can only have five of each max.  Also, you might want to consider swapping one of those traits for the major complication of loyal (Erin) unless it's a loveless marriage or something 

I'll write up the remaining stats that you guys want.

I believe Blue is going to have alot of moral quandaries-his personal ethics vs loyalty to his friends and family and the safety of them and the town. Should make some interesting gameplay!

Also, Mainiac, If you feel I did'nt pick any "real" weaknesses in favor of moral ones, just tack on Glass Jaw and/or Weak Stomach to balance me out. They would both technically be in-character.

I'm not quite sure. I'm thinking of changing Good Samaritan to Glass Jaw.
By the way, how did you get two guns for less than the cost of a holster? Are you sure you didn't take the cost from the wrong column?

Well...I just took the guns from Draigneans sheet, and the holster and most of the rest of my items from an item list on that wiki. I have not found an official item list yet.

Also, it's a very expensive holster :3

EDIT: cool, I found a pdf of six shooters and space ships...might help abit.
