By the way, why do people quote the entire post right above theirs? Especially when they make the first post in the entire topic. It's not like you could be talking to anyone else... Jake's quote is somewhat justified but I've had the first posts in some of my topics consist of a huge quote and one sentence.
Well, likely force of habit from quoting a lot if I had to guess.

Bjorn got a new ability! Hooray, it's going to be so useful!

Roll 34

Item Values

Spoiler: Precious Metals (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Warfare Metals (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Enemies (click to show/hide)

Group Kills:
Butch 'The Butcher' Artiboucheff (Killed by everyone)

Objective(s):
Slay Yaetrix.
Slay Schazin.

Location(s):
Spoiler: RidgeWalled - Castle (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Barakar - Town (click to show/hide)

Rolls:

Porin Keeperechoes-"Unfortunately, we are out of scrolls, primarily because people wanted fireballs after the blizzard hit and since scrolls don't actually have anything written on them until we charge them to sell... I'm very sorry, but you'll have to come back later if you want to buy a spell."

Bjorn Inmus-As if nothing happened, Bjorn calmly headed over to the gate where he sat down of a rock to contemplate about how the world works.

New Ability!

Ivan 'Sir Fiddle' Fiddlebottom-"Help..."

Taric 'Madman' Cogudib-Taric set out to find a gun enchanter in the shop. Talking to a wizard in a dark corner, he asked, "Excuse me good sir, but do happen to know how to enchant firearms?"
The wizard gave Taric a blanks stare from under his hat before complying. In a raspy voice, he replied,
"I've done of enchanting before, but it comes at a price. I can enchant a set of clips with a shockwave that is released on impact... but it comes at 50 Urists per clip. Alternatively, for 1000 Urists I can attach the spell to your gun so it will always do it to any bullet it fires. Do you accept?"

Tarran Terra-"Hello, fair sir, I would like to buy a Flaming Weapon enchantment for my Two-Handed Sword here, please."
"Eh, I can do that without a scroll. Give me your sword..."

Tarran gave Urist the sword. A long and awkward silence proceeded to take hold.

"...I can't tell what's going on. There's some kind of power in your sword. I can tell by the fact that it... well... glows. I'm afraid I can't enchant it without removing that power, but from the looks of it you seem to do better with the power in place."

(By the way, I've buffed your legendary skill bonuses since the Holiness prevents you from enchanting your weapon)

Nihilius 'Cogs' Vekt-Hearing the explosion, Cogs began to hurry. "That sounded like my companions. I best go check on them. Thank you for the weaponry."

Outside, Cogs saw Ivan on the ground bleeding profusely. Thinking quickly, he rushed over to Tarran in the shop, borrowed his medical kit and bandaged Ivan's extensive wounds. Afterwards, he handed Ivan a walking stick so he can... well... walk.

'Zrk'-Zrk, after rolling a 5, went to the duke and brought in Horse 1 through Horse 7, each loaded with supplies for the trip. In reality, the horses won't actually affect you during combat, but you'll get around quicker. Porin might not be able to ride, but it depends on his view on his own character. Either way, travel still takes 5 turns.

"Hmmm, I see..." Shame that my own blessing prevents any additional enchantments. "Thanks anyway."

"Come on Porin, let's go find the others." Go to the Castle Gate.

"Okay," Porin said. "Be back later for spells," he said to Urist, waving goodbye as he followed Tarran back to the castle. Once he got there, though, he immediately hid behind the man with a gasp. "Horses?" He peeked around him at the quadrupeds. "No good for Kobolds. Horses evil. One kick, blam, shattered skull. Happen to many kobolds. Hear it happen to dwarves, elves, humans too." He didn't really want to approach one. "Can ride with you?" he asked, looking up pitifully and being a Kutebold at Tarran.

Tarran looked down. "Damn, you sure are good at that. Hmm, if someone ever has an abundance of good stuff I'll call you, 'kay? Anyway, go ahead, you can sit with me."

"Sound fair. Favor for favor," Porin agreed. He held his arms out to his sides so Tarran could pick him up. He wasn't walking up to that horse... the consequences could be fatal.

It then travels around the group of guards like a boomerang. It (5) Slits another throat, (Three 6's in a row!) decapitates three more (!), (4) slices open the last guard's arm, and (2) narrowly misses a random bystander. It then flies back into your hand. Holy crap.

Cogs goes to mount his own horse. "Don't worry Porin, you'll be fine. I've ridden plenty of times, and I'm not dead yet."

We just need Zrk and we can be off. Also, which way do you guys want to go first?

There are two paths you could take:

Yaetrix, the Inquisitor of Ice: The Weary Hills -> The Murk of Frost (Ocean) -> Tundras -> Glacier -> Caverns of Morokar

Schazin, the Fiend of Fire: Sakanth (Moist Broadleaf Forest) -> Nahi (Sand Desert) -> Wastelands -> Isles of Volthnir

You'll encounter lakes, crevices, rivers, etc, but those are the general areas you'll travel through.

I'm with Tarran, my flaming sword will be crap against Schazin but it should work well against Yaetrix.
