The peretics construct a much larger and more elaborate dwelling around the pod for the overseer. They also construct a warehouse and some of the ones with extra forsight are given permission to explore and map out the area surrounding the colony

The Caerri create a dome of cells over the pod and a portion of the bone, these cells are supplied by the floating food catches. Several of the Caerri work tirelessly to create the complex cells necessary drill into the bone.

Once ready they work beneath the dome of protective tissue to burrow, the bone fragments from the drilling process will be integrated into the tissue dome over the opening as reinforcement.

The Kriblits dug deep and sealed the cracks and crevices with their homemade cement, leaving only one tunnel leading to the outside. Well some of the Kriblits stayed outside gathering food and keeping watch, most of them retired to the lair, digging down into the sand looking for anything unusual or valuable.

With dwellings secure, the Floatune explore their surroundings for a more hard material, such as coral, to create tools out of, or for anything else of use to the Floatune.

With dwellings secure, the Floatune explore their surroundings for a more hard material, such as coral, to create tools out of, or for anything else of use to the Floatune.
Some shells are found during the explorations, many with dead creatures inside. Each shell-borne animal is clearly pierced through with some kind of giant (from your viewpoint) thorn; they must had tremendous force behind them to pierce through both creature and shell at once! If they could be chiseled down to manageable sizes, they would be perfect for hunting, or perhaps used as than harder-than-trunk kelp material instead...

Either way, the explorers push each other up slightly to determine the position of the thorn for hunting purposes later.

The Floatune now know the weak points of some shell-borne creatures.

Shiny shell fragments are found, but not much else in the sand.

The bones groan as if under too much strain as you near the center. CONTINUE?

The peretics construct a much larger and more elaborate dwelling around the pod for the overseer. They also construct a warehouse and some of the ones with extra foresight are given permission to explore and map out the area surrounding the colony
Coral is found on the outside of the Car Remains, and some rather idiotic Peretics decide to headbutt the stuff. Surprisingly, some flakes of it break off, and are collected, while the Leader is told. What shall you do?

The Triath leading council declares that the colony shall be named Ygethar. Triath squads are then sent out to forage for food.
Some dead larval things are found and dragged down into the burrows. Cause of death is not clearly visible.

The Overseer orders the Peretics involved to investigate this further and to find out it's value as a building material. Meanwhile a group of Peretics begin to scour the bottom of the car in search of anything useful/harmful.

The dead things are analyzed for cause of death, while Triath squads are sent out to explore and map the area.

The Caerri shall add more food catches to their structure and begin constructing the same kind of mantles that their explorers use to move through the water on tethers to reduce the strain of the colony on the bones. The Tethered engines are fed by the additional passive feeders.

After the weight of the settlement is decreased further drilling shall be allowed.

e Kriblits picked up the small fragments of shells. Thinking the sharp edges would help them gain the advantage in any self defense they must partake in. Then a large party left following the chief to see what they could find, practically any food sources near the nest.

Explore the inside of the shells. Look for small broken fragments. Use these sharp fragments to "saw" off larger pieces, which will be taken back to the mighty tree. The Floatune left back at the tree will harvest more Kelp trunk, and use it to construct a warehouse on the ground, but still using the Kelp Tree as a base to provide stability.

The inside of the shells are dull with the various colors of solidified blood from the creatures, but fragments are indeed found.

The warehouse is built, and first to be housed are the largest of the shell fragments, along with large hunks of the creatures sawed off for Food.

The Kriblits picked up the small fragments of shells. Thinking the sharp edges would help them gain the advantage in any self defense they must partake in. Then a large party left following the chief to see what they could find, practically any food sources near the nest.
a large field of coral and small shell-creatures is found to the east, but giant electrified rope-like creatures float menacingly throughout it. Some Kriblits sharpen their shell fragments in preperation to attack, but await a command from the chieftain to do so.

The Caerri shall add more food catches to their structure and begin constructing the same kind of mantles that their explorers use to move through the water on tethers to reduce the strain of the colony on the bones. The Tethered engines are fed by the additional passive feeders.

Suitably lightened, the bone ceases groaning, but explodes with force after the marrow is reached; apparently an air bubble had collected over the years inside this one. The colony is somewhat damaged by the blast.

The dead things are analyzed for cause of death, while Triath squads are sent out to explore and map the area.
Slicing them open with fragments of the ore they couldn't burrow through, a mysterious dark purple liquid is found inside one of the larva. Upon contact by the researcher, he spasmed and died within 5 minutes. All of the larvae are immediately jettisoned from the burrows out of fear along with the ore shard used, while the dead Triath is put to rest in an impromtu funeral. The explorers stay much closer to the colony than originally planned, alert for anything that might have injected the horrible poison; They grab shells and hold them over their heads for protection, even though nothing alive is seen to be about.

Some Coral is found north, though, which cheers up the builders a bit.

The Overseer orders the Peretics involved to investigate this further and to find out it's value as a building material. Meanwhile a group of Peretics begin to scour the bottom of the car in search of anything useful/harmful.
After the idiots are carried back unconscious, the Coral is checked about, and some noticeable cracks have been created. When tested, it is less durable than the heavily rusted metal, but stronger in otherways, and thus the research team deems it a worthy successor to the car components as a building material. the inside bottom of the car is found to be empty, but a likely flammable black liquid is found dispersing from an outer component on the bottom.

The Triath send out people to look for non-contaminated food, and begin stockpiling the ore and researching potential uses for it, while the explorers are to collect coral and bring it back to the nest for further investigation. Miners are also sent to make more tunnels and find more ore.

The Caerri set about rebuilding, using the the inside of the bones as their main source of shelter. Once inside their newfound shelter the Caerri begin to reproduce, secure homes and plentiful food make good incentives.

The Kriblits scoff at the idea of attacking such a monster with nothing but a few sharp bits of shell.

Instead they start vibrateing and burrow under the ground. they move under the coral area and pop out for just a second to find the nearest shell critter. Then they burrow over to it and attack it's hopefully soft under belly with the sharp shell.

If they win they will pull the thing underground with them.

The Overseer commands the Peretics to build a small hospital. The Peretics also sew together some scraps of fabric gained from the chairs and fill a couple bags with the fluid.
