Sounds immpossible. Are you sure your soldiers are in the right mental condition?
And the alien attack, I dissent with any notion of that happing. Aliens? If they wanted to kill us, why have they not killed us yet?
And why would a super powerful alien race want to come to this hellhole to kill humans? Sounds like a waste of reasouces.

Meanwhile, deep into the Sahara desert, under a tent...

... and thus it is decided. The people of the desert shall assemble into a Republic of Free Men, and march on the Romans. We shall not stop until the bloody heathen are destroyed from the surface of the earth.

Sheb steps out of the tent, and face a huge crowd of warriors waiting in the open.

To Rome! No one shall stop the mighty FreeMen army!

"Well, I'm sure as hell against a fucking prideful douchebag general claiming that he destroyed a division of mechanized troops.

Hold on, I've lost contact with Nagasaki and Panama City."

((Funny, because in the lore, since America fell, the New Roman Empire is the freest nation on Earth...))

Alright, I lost contact with all troops at the Panama Canal. Somethings going off out there."

"I'm getting sensors of one of the Ion Cannons being eliminated. Please confirm that, over."
If one is in Rome right now, one could see a bright light in the sky, followed by wreckage.

((To Taricus: It was a full garrison. We just sent the PSF. Which are really, REALLY badass. A single squad can take on armies.))

((To Sheb: Ok then. I'm fine with that))

((We also have the most skilled soldiers, but we don't have a lot of them. Think Space Marines, only remove the big and thick (XD) power armor with something less huge and resembles more of a Roman Legionary outfit, and replace bolters with normal bullet weapons.))

As the Freemen's caravans were walking northward, carrying high-tech lasers of unknown origin on camelback, Sheb was plotting his campaign, drawing a crude map in the sand.

Well, they have superior manpower, firepower and equipment. However, we can make a guerilla war last for as long as we please. We should send a quarter of our troops to Morocco, to free our people there and get harbours on the Mediterranean. Meanwhile, the bulk of our force will disperse in groups of 50 men, led by chieftains, to hassle his troops from Tunis to the Suez canal. The Heretic's day are counted!

((Doubt it, a small mechanized force can control a entire country with enough police personnel. and I doubt the PSF are as badass as you think ;). most Aust. troops are equipped with KB. and a few divisions aren't human...))
