I want to settle an argument with my brother.

He proposed that Isaac Clarke could beat Gordon Freeman's ass. And I said Gordon Freeman eats RIG suits for breakfast.

who would win?

You put Isaac newton in the topic, not isaac clarke.

Misleading.

I changed the title, because I can do that. And if you would read through the whole thread, you'll notice there's a rather delightful debate over just how badass a 17th century philosopher can be.

Yeah. Look at the first few post's titles. It was Clarke originally.

We can figure this out can't we?

One of them killing the other, would have an opposite effect on the other... Making him more alive.
Wait, so now Issac Newton and Gordon Freeman are Highlanders?

Wheres Hawking when you need him?

Hawking would be presiding over the whole thing from his Wheelchair-Throne-Of-Doom like Shao Kahn.

Actually, the idea of Mortal Kombat between the great scientific minds of RL and fiction would make for an awesome game, if done right.

Newton's fatality move would be to throw an apple high into the air, and when it comes down it crushes the opponent's head down into their chest cavity.  :D

Darwin would turn you into a chimp then crush your face in with a tortoise.

Darwin probably doesn't even fight in person. He probably controls his intricate killing machines from afar as some kind of mastermind overlord.

Na, he would rant about how inaccurate that is. Darwin would use the Zerg.

Haha, Darwin would be the Xel Naga - you know, the ones who actually evolved from something. The zerg were intelligently designed.

Darwin's attack would be to send a finch flying at you, and then each combo adds a finch, up to five. His initial attack would be weak,  but the combo damage grows exponentially, so that the Max Finch Attack would do massive damage, possibly even the Chimp Fatality.

Also you can't have a game about scientists without Einstein. Of course he's only have one move, a finisher. The atomic bomb. Einstein is the most broken character in the game.

I dunno, I'd give that to Oppenheimer and give Einstein lots of crazy space-time shenanigens.  Schrödinger could be pretty entertaing too.
