Fine, I'll charge at... um... Northeast group, if it exists, if not, north or east.

IIRC Onslaught was some ridiculous fusion of Magneto and Professor X. Knocked Juggernaut from Canada to New Jersey in a single hit on his debut.

EDIT: Here's the wikipedia on him. Also I changed my action a slight bit so as to prevent friendly fire, and if Tarran's shooting southwest and Dom's back is to his it makes more sense for her to be aiming northeast anyway. ^^

Congratulations, powder! You win our true Dorf of the year award, a monogrammed pig tail fiber sock!

You have until Trol posts to sort out how you want to kill yourself.  :-\

They're all at medium range... I don't think any of them are any significantly closer than others.

I've got hideously important things tomorrow so...

Option A. I apologize to the players, dodge the claw of guilt and deadlines, and take the stress in my life out with a spinning back kick before writing an update late tomorrow.

Or B. I blow off an hour writing an update now, take the claw in the face tomorrow morning, then roll around on the ground and die.

Three guesses which one I'm going to pick. (Though as this is a two answer question I'm going to get worried if you have to use your third guess.)

I think he will choose B, but you should seriously choose A

Yeah, I'm going with A, I'm thankfully smarter than master tang. (If you don't get the reference you must rent Kung Pow: Enter the fist, you should be absolutely exhausted or mildly drunk when watching it, I'm told it heightens the humor.)

I've got another three presentations to give to even more tight-ass people at 9:00 AM tomorrow, so I'm updating all the threads that I'm holding up and then continuing to stress. After I get some rest and polish my brand new shiny piece of plastic (Yes thank you for this recognition award, now if you don't mind I'd like a 'frickin raise.) I'll update, and you can start encountering my next psychotic abomination.

Ah, the joy of non-profit groups, so stingy, yet so very greatful. :P

I'm back, and if any of you need a lecture on fire safety I'm right here.

Running turn now.

Spoiler: Initiative (click to show/hide)

E & NE Group

The damaged clones start closing in when it becomes readily apparent that stealth is not in fact working for them. [Dex 4+1, 2] One pair charges forward over the obstacles, closing to melee range with startling speed, the other three don't seems as agile and trip over some of the undergrowth, losing time as they adjust their balance.

East Group is at Melee range.

NE Group is at short range

---

Trol Grane

"I love noodles!" Use pyrokinesis on a zombie not near james.

[Sanity 4] [Random enemy select 13] You focus you broken mind on one of the pair that's closest, [Pyrokinesis 3-1] (-10 Stamina) while you have enough will to bring your mind to order you can't marshal the strength to ply your way through the memories of orientation.

---

James Evan

Fine, I'll charge at... um... East group. (Because I'm a kind GM and I'm not going to let serious melt the flesh off your bones when he's trying not to.)

You throw yourself at the nearest dead heads, [Target decision even/odd 3 = deadhead 13] [Str 2+1 Vs Str 3+1] getting stonewalled by the cybernetic's strength. Undaunted you use your patented approach of hitting it in the face and hoping it works out for the best. [Melee 1 (Bonuse Negated) Vs Deadhead dodge 1 (Bonuse negated)] [Luck 4] You miss, until it literally dodges into your fist. Yeah, it's safe to say that these guys are due for a maintenance check. [Brawling 2] Your blow hits weakly, barely turning the thing's head.

Deadhead 13 is Barely Hurt

---

NW Group

The corrupted clones continue to close in [Dex 2] or they try to. Not many of these are much more nimble that a moose on marbles.

NW group is at short range

---

Tarran Smith

"What the hell is going on here?! I'll try the radio, but I'm not hopeful."

Shoot the 12th with my Assault. Hold the radio to my face with my shooting-hand shoulder.

You prime the radio and the sandwich it against your face with your shoulder, Taking aim at one of the closer deadheads and firing. [Quickshot 2+1] The shot clips the deadhead [Deadhead soak 3+1], damaging its body only slightly. You yell at the radio, using Liberal amounts of invective to conjure up some form of response. [Luck 4] Surprisingly you get a response, though it isn't Hoke who's speaking. "Good morning, evening, or any variant of the between that's relevant to your current and and entirely irrelvant chronlogical position. How are you feeling?" The voice is a little sing-song, like the person on the other end has been indulging in recreational drugs. [Failed roll not shown]

(Corrupted deadhead 12 is Slightly Hurt)

---

SW & SE Group

The mooks coming in from the southern front, [Dex 3, 4] aren't exactly competent but they at least manage to make it partway without tripping.

SW and SE Group is at short range

---

Dominique Wakeman

"Damn it." Dom looked around and immediately went back-to-back with Tarran. "Think you can try that radio again?" she asked as she switched to the Fuath. "Maybe Hoke is still in the area and can airlift us out. If not... I say we blast through one of these groups and make a break through the hole." She took a shot at the northeast group.

Raising the chemical carbine to your shoulder you loose a blast of acid at one of the encroaching groups. [Quickshot 2+1+1, Range] You manage to coat two out of three in acid, and while it doesn't effect they're painless minds it burns their bodies severely.

(Corrupted Deadheads 1 & 2 are hurt and covered in acid.)

---

Taric Sizier

"First things first!" Open fire, aim for the legs of all the deadheads using the Jormungandr part of the frankenstein.

[Trick shot 2, -2 Penalty] You to shot the legs of the deadheads our from under them with a long burst of automatic fire. [Quickshot rolls 3-2-1+1, 3-2-1+1, 4-2-1+1, 3-2-1+1+1, 2-2-1+1] [Luck 4] Aside from wasting a great deal of ammunition your spectacular 360 degree hellfire spin does nearly nothing, only clipping a couple of deadheads in the thigh to nearly no effect. You count yourself lucky that you didn't kneecap a member of your group

Deadhead 2 Armor -5

Deadhead 6 is barely hurt, armor -3

Deadhead 10 is barely hurt, armor -3

"Screw this," Dom said, shouldering the Fuath and pulling out a smoke grenade. "When I pull the pin on this thing run north! Got it?" she yelled - to make sure everyone heard her- while getting ready to prime it.

Been trying something new with the intiative, the D100 lets me add your dex directly. Gives a more appreciable difference to things.

The psy tree is getting steadily more complete, thinking up adequate evolutions for every single ability, and then evolutions for the evolutions is difficult. Things are progressing.

You guys have shown an exceptional amount of creativity when mine is fading, so any suggestion is helpful.
