1. By not accepting immortality, right?
3. By not following the technocracy?
4. I can only imagine how the start would have went if it had been Taric's FATHER calling him from his workplace for help...

1. No, the Voice doesn't consider those who refuse to be its children.
3. More the murder and pillage thing you've got going. :P
4. Just a joke...

You guys are thinking of the short term plot.

A few of my key points to let you mull the story over while we wait...

1. The Gate is integral to the story, not just because it allows interstellar FTL transit between Sol and Eridani.

2. Psionics are integral to the story, not just because you have them.

3. The Father is integral to the story, but is not the big bad*.

*Technically there is no big bad, I don't like writing big bads. I like everyone to have a motivation, preferably something more than 'because I'm EEVVVIIILL. There is a big What-have-we-done though.

One does wonder what happened with taric's father... Dead or deported, all we know is that he's not on earth.

No he's not a porn emperor, enough with the porn.

What? no. My incredibly improbable coincidences aren't THAT bad. Honestly I'd just written him off until you brought it up.

He'll probably get worked in as an independent crime lord at sol, close enough to porn emperor.

The most likely thing. It just occurred to me that Tarran doesn't really have any loose ends. :-\

Yeah, that's unfortunate. Ahh, if only I could go back in time and spice up Tarran a little more.

Of course, since I filled in so little, there's still a load of stuff I, or anyone else, could make up. Especially since I didn't list my age! So there's plenty of room for expansion, which I'll fill in when I feel like it.

He shot at Taric's mother. Don't think taric forgot about that ;D
That too.

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.
Quote from: Ze Spy
Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.
