That face...

That's a face not even a mother could love. Even if she were blind and had no sense of touch.

Reminds me of a Skyrim mod, which adds Nigel Thornberry, complete with all relevant sound effects, who wields a Daedric Warhammer and declares "Smashing~" when he bashes with it.

What's a good level for finding a co-op partner to help with Gywn?

Alternatively, just do him on your own. He's extremely weak to parrying, with only a little bit of practice he's actually very easy.

If you want to assure victory, grab Solaire. Gwyn's not good at dodging when 2 people are after him.

Hardly an assured victory. Gwyn hits hard, and Solaire's not good at blocking; Solaire goes down quickly if you let him aggro Gwyn. And Gwyn turns quite quickly and has a wide sweep for most of his attacks, so even with one in front of him and one behind it's still really dangerous.

Honestly, I find Gwyn easier solo than with Solaire. Gwyn is much more predictable when you're his only target.

Did you know that the Darkwraiths in New Londo Ruins can drop a Dark Hand?

I did not. I was rather shocked, and couldn't wait to test it out, where I immediately got my ass handed to me by another Darkwraith because I tried blocking, got staggered and lost a quarter or so of my health.

It's kind of useless as a shield, unfortunately.
