The lights dim in the room. Suddenly, the air feels freezing. The door slams closed, and the light bulbs all shatter. The room is completely black.
Suddenly, there is a loud banging noise at the end of the hall. It slowly gets closer.
The door slowly gets brighter, but leaving the room completely black. Soon, the door appears to be just one large block of light.
Black tendrils inch their way out from the center of the door. In an instant, the door is flung open, and a shining white figure with pitch black eyes fills the door. It floats about a foot off the ground. Many tendrils of black and white flow through the air behind it.
The tendrils slowly inch towards you.

Well as far as I know, I was still running around being completely freaked out about being human.

Quickly check myself for damage and do a few quick and easy mental exercises to test my mind to see if its working right, then back the hell up! Probably back up before testing myself, that seems like the smart thing right now.

You look up at the apparition in the doorway, and jump back.
