Dungeon Game
« on: January 23, 2011, 09:11:01 pm »

Yes, I am still running my other two games.

However, I just had a good idea. It's basically Bay 12 Dungeon Crawl, with lots of stuff from both Slaves to Armok games, including body part translocation, elves, goblins, and much more.
I'm currently making the dungeon map at the moment.
If you'd like to play, fill out this character sheet.

You can reroll one stat.
Also, if you don't like the abilities of your race, or you think I over powered them, PM me, and we'll work it out.

What are the race options? Bay12 races? Human, elf, dwarf, goblin, kobold, etc?

edit: Ok, fixed mine... I'll reuse a name from another forum game. XD

Pretty much anything you want, Draco.
From an enemy in a vydjah game, to something you make up yourself. If you make one yourself, PM me the info, or put it in the sheet.
When I start the game, I'll give you race abilities based on what I think it should have. If you don't like the ones I give you, you can help me to get the ones you want.
Also, strife, you'll be black, because I intend to use MSPaint to make the turns to start, and I don't feel like making new colors.
EDIT:
That's fine.
EDITEDIT:
Strife, you're going to have to explain what your race is, as I have no idea.

Cute little fluff balls with a preference for building giant above ground fortresses as a refuge for whatever displaced peoples there are in a world. Then purging evil from it via ranks upon ranks of heavily armored pike wielding zefies.

They're my usual custom race.

Ok, I think I have enough characters.
I'll finish up the map, and write an introduction.

An old dwarf walks into the inn of BoatGrave, a human town. He sits at the bar, and orders himself a great big mug of some strong ale. After a short time of drinking, the dwarf was finishing his third mug, a child scampered up to him.
"Mister, mister, do you know of any good tales? You look around as old as the wizard who normally tells us tales, but he isn't here."
The dwarf looked down at the child, and an easy grin formed on his face.
"I'd be delighted to."
The dwarf dropped off of his stool, and let the child lead him to a far corner of the inn, and told him to sit on a worn chair. Other children slowly made their way towards him. After a minute or two, he started to talk.
"Aye, there be treasure beneath them mountains. I remember of the great dwarven fortress that once thrived there. Sadly, they were overrun by goblins and their mighty warbeasts. Ah, let me tell you about the story of Clear Hold..."
The children all stared at the old dwarf as he told a story about massive piles of treasure, victories and defeats, dwarves, and goblins. The old dwarf had also caught the attention of seven ragged looking figures, all looked as if they'd seen their fair share of battles. They listened with just as much attention as the children.
Later that night, the seven travelers cornered the old dwarf, and questioned him about the treasure. The old dwarf merely laughed.
"Me story is true. I was there, I saw the fortress fall with me own eyes. I can take ye there, if ya'd like."
The seven all nodded.

"Ah, this be as far as I go. I wish the ya all luck. I'll wait here for three days, and if ye not out by then, I'll take your tale back into town. Take as much supplies as ye need from me wagon."
Seven adventurers stand outside of a (horribly drawn) cave. The cave is marked with skeletons of various races hung from the walls, telling a message that is all to clear. The cave looks wide enough that they could take the wagon with them inside. However, there is a cave to their left that is a bit smaller, but it unmarked by anything. The group agrees that the wagon wouldn't fit inside.
The path into both caves is dark.
