How about you restate your case on me. I've forgotten.

And it's a little more than my word versus his. He didn't act in certain ways he should have if he was telling the truth.

Why did he have to infer that the Water Assist activated on a night kill? Why didn't he know it from the PM? I knew it from the PM I got because it explicitly said so, so why didn't he?

...for day 4.

I just got back from rereading D2, probably the most relevant day for finding scum (even those that aren't Dariush).  I still think it's Nirur, and I'm not changing my vote.  Vadia, I suggest you reread D1 and D2 and make your decision based on those.  D3 and D4 are pretty much all "no you" arguments.

Extend. This is getting interesting.

IronyOwl, did your Night 1 Water Assist explicitly mention getting killed in the night?
It did. On that note, why didn't your original PM to Toaster make that distinction?

Jokerman, same question.

I sent it in immediately without much thought for detail.

What do you make of Nirur Torir claiming the assist getting activated by the night kill was something he inferred from the rules, instead of saying it was explicitly there in the PM?

...

Jim.

The PM mentioned nothing about nightkills. It simply says "if you were killed." That's something of a disconnect and this just adds on to my suspicions of him.

My PM made no mention of night kills.

Mine did.

Aren't you the odd man out here instead of Nirur?

It says if you were killed in the night, you'd get to make a single post.

Kill in night => night kill.

If that's what everybody's talking about then my mistake.

I think you're missing my point.  You say your PM did mention NKs- both Joker and Nirur says theirs didn't, making yours the only different one.

Alright, yes, that would appear to make me the odd man out.

But what are you trying to get at?

Why would go after Nirur for being different than you and not Jokerman?

Since Jokerman-EXE assisted honestly at least once, he should have known that the PM did mention night kills (according to how I interpret it anyway). I didn't jump on it immediately because I wanted to see how Nirur Torir would react. I made the assumption that Jokerman-EXE was trying to catch Nirur Torir in a lie, since the knowledge of what the PM contains is something that he should know, having assisted Water once before.

I still want to hear Jokerman's response to the "were they the same" question.  We might as well extend- I doubt another night will do us any good.

Sorry for the absence, my girlfriend's in town so I won't be on too much this weekend.  :P

I'm surprised Jim caught it so fast, but yes, I was lying to see what Nirur said. My PM (without quoting it directly) does mention being killed in the night, very specifically.

The question, of course, becomes what to make of Nirur's reaction. If he honestly had the same PM in front of him that I do, and what I assume Jim has in front of him because I know he assisted as well, then he shouldn't have had to make an inference, and his little explanation there was completely fabricated.

Were the PMs any different between nights?
