I'm good with spoilering new stuff, though I've never bothered or had the need to use spoilers before so it might be good to know before failing and spoilering unspoiled spoilers.

You know, sometimes I wonder if I only watch MLP because of the great characters. I haven't really caught up with it, I don't exactly enjoy the plots that much and I just read grimdark fanfiction for it. I don't even consider myself a proper brony, really. Is this a bad thing, or is it relatively okay?

I can accurately predict the cliche plots about 1/3 way through an episode. I'm also in in for the characters.

It's a kids show, there are constraints about the types of things they can do, and more advanced plots are out of the question.

Well, that was pretty straightforward.

Would have worked better if they had more than 44 minutes to fit everything into.

Even so, it was pretty good, they did a good job with what they had.
