Ah I figured out that the game already records astronauts and their achievements, skills, missions etc. So instead of Text once I begin I'll paste a nice graphic of the astronaut in the player area in the first post!

Indeed that is the first goal! in 1 year i think we can launch the first one. Have added pics to the above post, spoilered them for our more bandwidth impaired bay12ers. 

Also in 1 year I think we can recruit our first astronauts. Though they have to go through basic and maybe advanced training before missions, thats the beginning of the manned era!

The Explorer satellite is now researched to 92% safety. The Atlas rocket to 56%.

Group I of the astronaut program has been recruited.





The Mercury program has begun. Research is at 26% safety for the Mercury capsule.


The first unmanned orbital satellite is slated to be launched in the next season. *however due to the damaged launch pad this is going to be delayed until 1959.
