Dwarf Fortress, and Youtube
« on: December 20, 2010, 06:11:37 pm »

Do any of you know if there are some commentator's out there who regularly or semi-regularly do DF videos?
Like all the minecraft video's and stuff.
I've had a look but there isn't much recently, just wanted to know if anyone out there knew of any :)

Sudden desire for HD to forget starcraft and move onto DF...

Not that I know of, I've looked and there were a few good let's Play! clips, but not much realy.

Not that I could find, but the comments are just as entertaining. One comment on a video showing the DF music said "This song haunts my blood-caked nightmares..."

Yes. ADVENTURE MOOOODE!! Jef also did 2010 Fortress Mode a while back, but he said it was too "slow" (I dont' think he meant the FPS) for an LP and he cut it.

Two... two hours?! I didn't think he was serious when the title said "Adventure Mode - The Movie". Holy crap. But yeah, I forgot about jefmajor.

Argh, now I have to watch the whole thing! Damn you Duelmaster!!

I was about to mention him. Though he may be a bit crude with some of his jokes =]

I dunno if it's the same person, but JefMajor makes great adventure mode movies (parts that are about 2 hours long, instead of 2 minutes) that are crazy fun to watch.

He also has a big, long series of 40d Adv. Mode videos if you want more.
