((It's much more in-line with the StarCraft setting though if I restrict it purely to chance.  There is nothing in the StarCraft universe that allows one to change their PI (Psionic Index).  Either you're born with it or you're not.  On the bright side you get 2 specializations so you can be a ghost/pilot if that is what your heart really desires.))

((Wait, what the fuck does piloting have to do with PSI Index? I may have read it wrong, but really what? Also, one question, would Ghosts receive a mind wipe or Neural Inhibitors? And is there a benefit to not become Spectres?))

((You read that wrong, I was just saying if a Ghost wanted to pilot a spacecraft, using the current set up he would be able to.  I signify dual classes as (primary class)/(secondary class).  I'm waiting a bit to reveal more details of the Ghost Program, I don't want to get bogged down with too many details too quickly.))

((Also, can we have a general PSI Index scale? Hey, at least I can be one of those useless wranglers. Actually, nevermind, I don't want an index telling me how much I suck. And dammit, both of my planned jobs are screwed over. Goodbye Wraith. Marine deathfest, here I come.))

((Spectres are basically the result of exposure to terrazine and some other gases that enhance psionic ability. So yeah.))

Week one: physical training
Week two: Marksmanship

I have absolutely no idea what's going on in this fort any more. Migrants arrive, they die for some reason, the fort is flooded for another reason, then dwarves go mad, more dwarves die and I'm just laughing in my distress.

You were in Resoc week one Ahra and it's already done.

Week one: physical training
Week two: Marksmanship

Week 1
You focus on Physical Training and soon shed off all the excess weight on you.  (Trait Gain:  Fit)

Week 2

PAT Result:  Little to no Psionic Potential

Despite a week of effort trying to learn the secrets of long distance shooting, you can't seem to get the hang of it.

week 1 strenght training
week 2 marksmanship

Week 2

PAT Result:  Absolutely no Psionic Potential.

((Edit:  Also, nothing is stopping you from piloting a Wraith Phantom, if that's really what you want.))

Deciding it would be best to learn how to accurately hit a target, but you spend a little bit too much time training with your C-14 and not enough with other weapons.  (Trait Gain:  C-14 Accuracy, +3 damage when using a C-14 Gauss Rifle)
