Pretty much an immortal swordsman in all iron, loads of good companions, nothing could stop the party... Then had to cross a river. It was frozen, and there was no way down to it. "Screw it", I thought. I jumped down, hit the ice, broke my legs, fell through the ice, landed in the river 2 Z levels below the ice and got eaten by a pack of crocodiles.

Inspired by some guy who modded dragons to be ambush predators, I made tham bogeymen! That was a great idea.

I rolled up a new adventurer, he was a fast and strong swordsman. I liked him. He started with an iron scimitar and a bronze shield. I then lucked into a +Iron Breastplate and some other good armor for him. He was going to rule he world. He drowned in a sewer on his first quest. *facepalm*

Even though I prep my adventurers with the dodging skill of a werebeast, some lucky thing still snaps a bone and mauls me while I'm unconscious.

Thus the true spirit of DF is revealed!

I murdered a dude named Foggybottoms, the high fog of a civ, turns out there was a crossbowman at the temple top, i got shot in the lung   and used the high fog's body to break a hand on the crossbowman before i suffocated.

Oh this was a good one. A necromancer re-animated a severed hand. The gist of my death message was:

"The hand scratches you in the back of the head through the leather hood and iron helm breaking your skull and forcing it through your brain."

WAT? I know A Wizard Did It, but that was one hell of a scratch from a thing that has literally no muscles.

I imagine it getting up and walking around on it's fingers, then jumping from behind you and doing a fake kick, killing you instantly with Kung-fu.

New weird one. Apparently if you faint on top of a weapon trap it resets and just pounds you until you die. I had no idea they reset, I thought they were like mousetraps. So despite a few broken bones I was finishing looting an empty tomb. I randomly fainted in exactly the wrong spot and an automated iron whip turned me into jelly.

Yeh I savescummed that one. No idea if that's a bug or a feature, but it just seemed silly all around.

I started a peasant spearman and got a quest to slay a Tiger. I made my way to its lair and I somehow managed to kill it, albeit horribly mangled with my guts hanging out. I had plenty of tiger meat and there was a river nearby that I could drink from, so I figured I'd use the tiger's lair as a safehouse until I managed to heal up all my injuries. In order to prevent myself from being ambushed while I slept, I built a camp fire at the entrance of the lair to prevent anything from wandering in.

Well, the fire never went away. Not being able to walk past it, I was unable to leave the lair I had claimed for my own safety. The fire kept burning for eight days before my character finally succumbed to dehydration.

Many a fine youngling adventurer, be they peasant or demi-god, has succumbed to an inability to step over burning branches.

Assaulted a necromancer's place. Took him down with a single blow and began clearing out the zombies effortlessly. The very last one got a lucky hit on my hand, forcing me to drop my hammer, then another on my leg, making me unable to run away.

My legendary vampire swordsman. Having sustained only damage from fire (burned of his legs fats). I had killed two dragons, one titan and one roc. I traveled to a shrine feeling supreme. Finally at the shrine, I saw a titan that could shoot webs. I sneak close to it and slash the titan's feet. It spots me and shoots it webs. I struggle in the webs and it bashes my brain in with one hit.

I have eight words for you: you went toe to toe with a Titan? In my world I've killed a bronze colossus, two hydras, over a dozen Roks, and umpteen assorted semimegabeast, and I still don't go toe to toe with Titans.

Simply put, if they see you, you WILL die. Especially if you've snuck up to within arms reach.

The only ways I kill Titans are: undead mob if inorganic or throwing if organic.
