"Oh, that's just great."
Thera looks at the control panel.

"Is she really a child?" Ivy looks thoughtful.
---
"Argh, that dumbass. He's not leaving me behind again: Would you be so kind as to run this thing again?"
Thera looks and sounds angry.

"One of her questions that she asks: Will you die for me?""

The panel reacts to Thera's presence.

Hello Thera.
I guess you wish to follow Mr. Cross.
Even though it is against his wishes, I will reroute the machines current location...

The machine has another energy discharge, and a portal opens.

"Heh, that works too."
Thera goes through the portal.
---
"Probably not."
Ivy thinks for a moment.
"It's not about looking like a child, it's about thinking like one. That doesn't sound like thinking like one."

She ends up in an ever changing maze, whispers telling her to leave. Oh god, she ended up in the Maze of Tzeentch.

"A labyrinth. A shifting labyrinth. There's only one solution to that."
Thera slices a hole in the wall.

"So. Do you want to help me? The thing is... The town that she lives in is dead, people with false smiles hide their true identity. Body-snatchers, unaware of what they are. Except one. I need some help taking on her..."

The wall simply reforms quickly, and she only manages to get a glimpse of Dariel who managed to make it far in the maze. He enters a library of some sorts and then the wall fully closes up.

"I see. Lovely."
Ivy sighs.
"Well, I am pretty good at mind games. I suppose I shall go."
---
Thera laughs and tears the wall open wider and leaps through before it closes, and slashes through any other walls on  her way to Dariel's location.
"Hey."

"You need to go. Now. This place will eat you alive."
He fully turns toward her, now revealing a gigantic hole in his side, leaking out bodily fluids and with many maggots and gasses.
"I need to have a talk with one of the chaos gods. Alone."

"What, do I need to kiss it better?" Thera laughs.
"Dariel, I am not leaving you, no matter what. I might get eaten alive but then you already are getting eaten alive. What the hell are you trying to do, anyways?"

"Tzeentch.
Is.
Not.
Leaving.
Me.
Be.

I need to convince him to stop trifling with me, he always listens, but, he makes plans of his own. I had an unfortunate run in with Nurgle accidentally. Anyway, you SHOULD leave NOW. This place literally makes your hope into insanity and despair."

At that point, Thera begins to see things as Dariel walks deeper into the Library...

*Back on-planet, at about twenty spots several dozen kilometers away from the newly-constructed fort, there are large blotches of ground that seem somehow... off. There is a strange silence within them, hardly even punctuated by the wind flowing. Anything that could get up and run has already long left; colonies of social insects have forsaken their strongholds and even plant life seems all to eager to uproot itself and move away. The areas seems somehow repressive, and if one where to touch the unusually warm ground, the faint murmur of great living things could be faintly felt through the earth.*

*Meanwhile, on the Ark, Amity, slumbering fitfully in her impromptu hidey-hole, wakes up from her sleep with a gasp. She takes a look at her right arm, lets loose a stream of imprecations that would make a sailor cringe and shuffles off to her quarters. She rummages through her pack until she comes across her final two chem-injector canisters. With a sigh she replaces the spent cartridges on her arm, and with little better to do, heads to the Space Marine weapons stashed long ago by the Tyrant in an air duct in hopes of finding something else interesting.*

"Sigh. Fine."
Thera activates her vaguely-defined method of leaving, whatever that might be.

Amity hears a voice-obviously not telepathic and obviously Kata's.
"Sneaking around again?"

After quite some time, Dariel is ejected back into the world, near the tyrant's location, followed by a wave of pestilence.
