Well, we did choose to start in Detroit. Can't infect the President just yet. (But later...oh yes, later.....)

Well its a start, good enough for one turn i guess.
Save the point and use it to remove simple when we get the next mutation point, having smarter zombies would be a big help, much better then slightly better targeting in my opinion (especially when their is only two zombies and 6 billion humans).

How much would a airborne vector or sleeper agents cost?

I think we should probably give them vision...eventually, we'll have ninja zombies that have such good eyesight they can see past the fabric of spacetime and anticipate your movements before they happen :D

Not much point, humans already have pretty good vision themselves, and yeah i'm changing my vote to removing unaware.
I also laugh at the humans in the two page zombie thread. (could you tell them i laughed at them glyph?)

but how will being aware help them if they only have rudimentary smell and motion detection?

Being aware helps more concious decision makeing, and helps make host rebellion more unlikely. More intelligent movements and less possible rebellion means we can stay hidden until we have rather large numbers.

Nope, i think being aware increases the possibility of rebellion, because you can't rebel against hunger.
And it wouldn't make the movements more intelligent until we remove simple, at which point i think we would look and act like regular humans (except for turning people into zombies when we can).

You guys don't just have to focus on the obvious removing of flaws, remember! You need to consider the possibility that points might be better spent in other ways. An example of other things that only cost a point:

A source (unlocks many new abilities, provides additional perks and drawbacks). Could be independent alien, alien weapon, natural mutation, military weapon, etc.

Spend a point on making your larvae able to live outside the body for several hours instead of several minutes as long as they remain in a fluid.

Spend a point to buy a new behavior, like inducing vomiting whenever you get close enough to someone.

There are a lot of things you can do! Be creative!

Sorry! You're not in New York anymore. Now you're in Michigan. Don't ask why. ;)

I recommend Lansing, the capital. It has some nice schools.

Yeah, you can, I just don't understand what you said. Detroit is in Michigan.

Depends on how good it is. Being a parasite, even your larval form is heavy enough that you would probably need at least two mutations to get an airborne vector (for example, exploding pressure sacks, and parasite spores, and probably environmental resistance as well). Some sort of dispersal vehicle alone would be enough for short range coughs to transmit stuff at least, and that would only cost a point.

For one point you could manage a sleeper mutation (there would still be negative effects on their host, but you wouldn't take them over). However, unless you create a new parasitic form first, this is very dangerous, since it would work the same way for all of your parasites. You could also choose to have a sleeper period added on to your incubation period, called a "False Recovery". 12 hours worth of this would cost about 1 point.
