"Hifuckyougoawayfaggot"

(He didn't actually say that)

Well, if he does say that, so what? He's dirt and you shouldn't be talking to him anyway.

I have no idea what flash of insanity inspired me to send him a message.

Also it's not fear if I'm already rejected.

So you're scared that he'll react negatively to a generic greeting, despite having no reason to think so?

Nono, it's an IED, I know that. The only reason I think a bomb went off at all is because I knew there already was one.

Really? I can't find any news reports about it. Someone toss a bombinabox on the road?

Go read up on it and focus on it D:
Best way to combat exams like those where personal difficulty is had is to create...err, a knowledge buffer to reinforce yourself .__.
As in, read ahead and/or read up the topics (in the syllabus at least...the one thing I dislike about the education system [among other things...] is how limited it is by the curriculum :I Learn 'this much' in 'this amount of time'...no more or less...])

But seriously, read up on it--if you're rushing it...which is seems like you're doing now, go back and get whichever details you find easier to remember in the short term which was taken up. (also I advise reading upon it all after the exam because knowledge :P)

I'm okay with text to remember, but DATES. Dates, dates, dates. Freaking >50 dates to remember, all of which I will forget in a matter of a few hours after the exam. Why do I even need to know this? I'm aspiring to be a programmer, will my interviewer ask me "When did Cossacks attack Poland, what was the reason and who was leading the attack?" WHY CAN'T I CHOOSE MY CAREER NOW AND DROP THIS BULLSHIT!? ARGH

Reminds me of a few weeks back, in science, we had to make BIOLOGICAL DRAWINGS. If you are unawares as to what that is, it's basically, in my own words:

FUCKING BULLSHIT.

You must follow the directions perfectly, or it is WRONG. Too close to the nonexistant margin? WRONG! START AGAIN!

Oh, and it must be done in pencil. AND THE BEST PART, IS THAT I OVERHEARD THE TEACHER SAY THAT EVEN SHE DISLIKED IT

EDIT: well, my dad may well have a DVT.

Seems kinda coincidental given how I looked them up last night.
Speaking from having being in (almost) your situation, I can tell you that DVTs are more of a hassle than a major threat, when they're being treated properly. He'll need to go for blood tests at the least weekly to decide what dosage of anti-coagulants he needs to be taking until it goes away. It will probably be a long while.
That's if it's found relatively early anyway. I guess you'd know if it was at the life-threatening stage though because he'd be suffocating/not moving blood around.
