What movie is it, anyway? Spirited away?

No.
It's called "The Cat Returns"
made by the same people, though.

The cat has returned.
I can't say it's back on my porch, because now it's moved into the small hallway that separates the two apartments.
So it's actually inside now, and there are food and water dishes near it.
It's stopped frothing at the mouth, though, but is still very passive.

It might be something else. If it drinks the water, it's most likely not rabid. There's many possible causes, my cat used to hypersalivate after, apparently, a bee/wasp bite, and another time after being thrown on a stone floor (don't ask) and apparently having her lung bruised.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

Other than the fact that I can still see it breathing, it's stopped moving.

I'm worried about it. :<

I wouldn't touch it, though I think you know that much.

My stepdad is the person least fond of the cat in the house. He also has anger management issues sometimes. And the cat scratched the couch in process of escaping from dreadlockectomy, because it's a Persian.

Last day of training is tomarrow.  Then I start my job proper with no more handholding.

I've been doing the job almost as normal for the last week, Except with what basically amounts to a second supervisor.  And I have been told that I am doing an excellent job, I am doing everything right, my mentors even asked me if I was a rehire.

We got what basically amounts to our last one on one with the trainer today and she basically told me I am doing everything perfectly, I have nothing that seriously needs improvement and that I already perform better than half the people out in regular calls.

That terrifies me.  I know I can do better, but it kinda worries me that my trainers and mentors can't actually guide me towards it.  I'm worried I will come across a customer with a tech support problem I simply can't solve and will have no-one to turn to.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
This happens to me a lot. What makes it worse is that after talking to several managers I've been told by practically all of them that they wouldn't have even considered hiring me as an regular over anyone of their current employees if I had sent job aplication. They openly admit that their hiring practices suck, but changing them would mean they would be personally responsible for bad hires. And they won't do that.

Then you get cities like Paris where you should basically just kill yourself already.

You won’t have to think anymore: it’ll be just like having fun!

The frothing cat is no longer in the hallway, and seems to have found a new place to lay down on at my neighbor's porch. He seems to be doing better, now, and has stopped frothing.

The hallway has been taken over by a different cat, who's claimed the basket I had out their to store three little kittens, along with itself.

So now everytime I walk out my door, I see a cat and three kittens, then pass frothing cat on the way to the car.
And now there is a new cat that hides in the bushes and stares at me, and I can see its eyes.

I think there has been a catsplosion nearby.

Are you sure the first new cat isn't the mom of the kittens? Or could be a female cat who has adopted the kittens.

I'm almost positive it's the mother, as she's been feeding them.
At least someone's using that basket, now.

Also as I was driving yesterday, I saw at least 5 different cats in various places around town.
