Moose bot flies are worse. Normally they spray (yes, SPRAY!) their eggs into the noses of moose, where they hatch and burrow in and do the normal botfly stuff, just inside a moose nose.

However, they have problems distinguishing moose noses from human eyes.

I read this as "moose noose". There's a moose boot fly loose aboot the moose noose!
