The cleaning stuff at work seems to have gotten to my hands through my rubber gloves.

I washed my hands vigorously, but they still feel very sensitive. At least it stopped burning, though some dead skin started peeling off.

This reminds me of a place I worked at (briefly). They dealt with a lot of machinery/electronics type things, and in the bathroom was a bucket full of grease-dissolving stuff. It worked pretty well for getting the omnipresent grease off things, until someone had to go to the hospital when it dissolved their hand.
