So why does it scare you?

Because I consider net security paramount, it doesn't really terrify me but it scares me for the safety of my local connection and wi-fi, I don't want obtrusive things slipping through like viruses and malware constantly(which I have been dealing with constantly as of lately)

This sounds like the point where you Google your monitor and what the lights mean.

And I don't think that your monitor has any sort of insight on your network security.  Unless you're actually talking about your router or modem or similar.

X2yzh9:  Are the lights physically on your monitor, or at the top of your "screen".  Probably the latter, but for all I know the former is a common thing nowadays.

You say there are four lights-  where?  Are they built into your physical monitor, or are they some software thing?
If it's a software thing, do you know what program is presenting 4 lights at the top of your screen?  If you don't, that is a problem.

Meh. Honestly, the problem isn't that there's mice. It's that I'm just terrified of anything smaller than my foot and moves quickly. Roaches give me such a jolt I barely have time to react to them scurrying away to go get a shoe. So yeah. Maybe I'm just a scaredy cat, but I am damn sure not worrying about an infestation.

Aaaah like I said, it's been fucking cold outside. Like, close to freezing sometimes. I'm not too worried about that. Worst case, we'll have to get mouse traps set up.
