I call mine Imperiums, after the Dwarven Empire that I am currently the ruler of. Killing the king and getting your Count appointed his Majesty is awesome. =3

From reading these boards I've been influenced to think of them as dwarfbucks, but as a previous poster mentioned, it just doesn't seem right.  Otherwise I think referring to them as "flagon(s)" fits the genre and dwarves.

According to my minimal internet searching ☼ is a symbol for the sun so I refer to them as solarins.

Stadhs. I don't know where I came up with the name, but that's what I call 'em.

Am I the only one who assigns every metal a coin value?

I like to call them Monies, or just "value" (ie "these logs have a value of 3"). Most likely each civilisation would have its own name for the currency.

Why not make a vote on the new name?
Because people are gonna call it whatever they want no matter what the results are, and it'd basically be unenforcable. Why bother?

I personally always thought of them in terms of the dartmud (Iranian) currency system, giving them a named coin based on value:
Coin                 Equivalent   Value(☼)
copper fals (fs)       -                 1
silver qirat (qt)       10 fs          10
silver dirham (dh)    10 qt         100
gold dinar (dn)       10 dh       1000
gold rial (Ri)           5 dn        5000

So something worth 1350☼ in my mind is 1 dinar, 3 dirhams, and 5 qirats.

I propose Limar, the dwarven word for wealth. I also like Rigoth, dwarven for craft.

☼ reminds me of the alchemical sign for gold.

EDIT: After some quick checking. Yes, ☼ is one of the alchemical symbol for gold.

Monies

Dwarfbucks is an acceptable alternative.
