I don't know if any of you guys heard this but I heard that the current North Korean governer (Kim Jong Ii-something or other) is expected to be passing away from health problems in the next few years. (multiple people have told me that since this whole ordeal started). I do remember that the last time the governer/leader of NK passed away, they created a really big ruckus to shake things up and boost morale for the next one.

'Course this is all speculation and could be completely unrelated.

Its pretty well known that Kim Jong Il (or maybe II as in 2) is in poor health, thus the whole succession thing.

I didn't know about the ruckus part though when the current leader dies. Although with the mention of a regent in the wiki info for the successor (yes I know, I'm taking that with a grain of salt) makes the whole thing sound like some kind of monarchy, which it's certainly acting like.

Also, as far as the insanity thing being used as a powerful negotiation tool, that only works up to a point, unless you actually intend to isolate yourself as much as possible.

Which they do.

There were rumors about KJI having pancreatic cancer, but I have my doubts. It was reported about a year and a half, and if true, he should have been dead for a while. So if there was any truth to it, then it must have been a benign tumor, rather than adenocarc.

They could easily pretend he's still alive for a little while.

Hey, when was the last time he was seen in public again...?

Not sure. I'm not entirely sure he ever goes out in public.

Didn't he appear a few months ago at that ceremony thing for his successor?

I'm not so sure about the whole regent thing mentioned on wiki (which I don't actually believe is correct) since historically the regent would have been until the child monarch was in their teens or something, but eh, since when did North Korea make much sense with their behavior.

This might be a good time to buy up some penetrator ammo.

Most assault rifles have a 30-round magazine. Why do those come in boxes of 20?

Figure out ten hot dogs and eight buns, then I'll tell you.

Meat vendors pack by the pound. Bakers pack by the count.

The two different vendors have different county systems, different guilds and standards.

Have guys infiltrate, build an imprompteu silo, launch a dummy rocket, we shoot it down and show uranium in it and call for invasion.

Or we scorch their land and have world wide trade embargoes on North Korea. Everyone becomes even more malnutritioned and eventually they all just die out.

Knowing North Korea, they probably feed their people the radiant insanity of KJI. Can't be healthy.

We can't infiltrate, the NK border patrol would gun down anyone they see trying to go in.

No, that would force their hand and they'd have no choice but to invade South Korea.

And if they tunnel under the DMZ instead of just charging at the border, guns blazing?
