I think I should lower their defense a bit. Coupled with how much 'hitpoints' they have (6; for comparison, Battleships and Carriers have only 4), they're super tough to damage, not to mention, kill v;

And yes nukes wipe them out easily but it's hard to nuke them when they're protected by their cities' SDI (or they're waltzing between my cities, I'm not that desperate to nuke my own people :P)

You could mod in an EMP weapon. Either a straight-up, detonate a megaton nuke in low orbit, kill everything electronic on the continent uber-NEMP, or a small-scale man-portable thing.

My unnaturally long-lived duke had outlived all his heirs except for one guy who was in matrilear marriage. This is how dynasty ended.

That's Crusader Kings 2.

My Occultist kept on healing for 2s, 3s, and even 0s.

My Man-At-Arms was at Death's door, AND kept getting stunned, AND was bleeding, AND was blighted.

The latter didn't make it.

I think someone else died too, but I can't recall who.

I'm considering removing the Occultist just for this... insult!

Let someone more worthy take his place. We need no medics who can't do their jobs.

It's bad enough that there's a race of blue-skinned sexy space women, but a freaking alien sex vampire?
Literally space succubi.  Asari are actually a pretty interesting concept, a race that works with foreign DNA.  It even makes sense that they'd all be female, given that.

It's just largely cheapened that they happen to all be traditionally attractive chicks.  And what a coinkidink, they're by far the most humanoid of the non-human races.

ME2 was the best of the trilogy. ME3 was... Poor. For some reason they added an element to be nice to people who hadn't made a character for the previous 2 games (to whom, I ask, why are you starting with the 3rd game in a trilogy known for it's continuity regarding previous characters?) that also probably encouraged folk to play online.

A stupid decision, but it's EA thinking online multiplayer needs to be in everything.

So, the Paralogue was going well. After a couple of attempts I found out how to get to the unit I was recruiting without anyone dying. Heck, My Unit and Silas were single-handedly wrecking the upper half of the map. Last two enemies, one of them being a guaranteed kill, so I decided to give the new kid some experience. I had one of my Sky Knight or whatever they changed Pegasus Knight's name to in this one attack the boss; the attacks would leave it at three HP, easy pickings for the kid.

The boss crit it's counter. It fucking crit. It had a 40 something percent chance to hit and single digit chance to crit, and it did it anyway. This is literally the first time I'd seen an enemy crit in the game up to this point and I'd never seen it happen in Awakening. One shot, unit dead.

I think I've seen an enemy crit, but it must have been a very long time ago. I also don't remember said crit actually doing much. Maybe it missed?
Chrom's reflection from that one Paralogue did miss both hits of Aether, though, which sort-of-not-really counts.

My death:
I was grinding all the kids except Inigo, whose parents weren't married, and Severa, whose mother recently retired from war (and lost me a unit ;-;) up after their promotions. Except, you know, Yarne and Nah. (Olivia was there too.)
Any case, I was doing fine, until I realized I left Laurent a little too close to a few enemies. As in, within range of three archers. Laurent sucks at dodging archers.

Testing out my new sword which basically strikes foes with two-hundred bolts of lightning every single time its swung. Forgot that the beams being fired at the party on this stage summon lightning strikes that can easily instakill the entire party if they hit. Said lightning proceeded to instakill the entire party.

The reason you rarely see enemies crit? Partly because enemy units tend to have piss-poor crit rates, due to the permadeath nature of the game for the player. In games like X-COM, enemy crit rate doesn't matter so much because your units are faceless generic grunts. In this series however, characters are unique and often plot-critical. If any random mook could one-shot your lord and force a game over, far fewer people would play Fire Emblem.

The other big reason is that when you do see an enemy with a significant crit chance, you tend to focus entirely on taking that one unit out as safely as possible.

Usually enemies have, say, <20% (certain Killer weapons) crit. I do remember seeing a Killer-wielder going against Owain with only 2% crit, though, which was hilarious.
Olivia also happens to be useful at luring Killer-wielders, because she can always survive the hit and then someone else reks them.
This is speaking from about five or six packs of Risen in Castle Valm, though, so I dunno.

There's a very specific point in Radiant Dawn where common enemies all get a big bump in crit chance.  I remember them sometimes having a 5-10 crit chance, which might not seem like much but there were a lot of them.

God that was annoying.
