Sounds a lot like Dead Space 2, if a window gets shot out you gotta shoot the button to bring down the emergency shutters otherwise the shutters manage to come down by themselves JUST as you're partway through, obviously with gory results :P.

I was just guessing. I haven't played SS13 in a while and whenever I die from being airlocked I generally don't have a chance to get back inside. ^^^; Regardless, Dead Space 2 always results in at least bisection; I saw it a LOT trying to get the achievement for sucking out an amount of Necromorphs... So now I don't have a clue what game he could have been playing.

I don't think only your arm gets ripped off when playing DS2, that's not nearly gory enough. I've always seen bisection, but I don't know if there's any others.
