You got your D-Day in my Mount and Blade!

Yeah, 83 of me vs. 161 of them, usually not that bad a problem since i just have my marksmen hold position on some tall hill and cut them down with volleys, except they had so many damn horses distracting my marksmen that the enemy infantry were able to run right up from behind, and not in the good "SURPRISE BUTTSECKS" way. Also, i got shot in the face with an arrow.

Calculated the money needed to repay the loan too tightly, then managed to not pay the installment back fully 'cause I forgot adventuring costs money.

Alternatively: Ran into a mushroom.

Mount and Blade: Warband, Trying to keep Rduna from being raided, but as soon as i fight off one War Party, another one comes in. These mofo's just do not quit. One of them finally beat me, though at least my Marksmen got some kills (not that it matters, since i'll just load up the previous save).

Next time i make a character, i'm recruiting as many Huscarls as possible before the Nords declare war with Swadia... I may even go with the Nords in the first place, so i'm not smack in the middle of the map with all the other Factions all around me, like Swadia is.

Swadian Knights wipe the floor with Nord war parties. Pull together some Vaegir archers and use them to weaken the Nords from a hilltop or something, then charge with Swadian cavalry.

Mine was Warband also, I got jumped by some boyar with three times as many troops as me.

Testing a water brake from the top of the map to bedrock.
It failed.
Of course, another ring of water and everything went swell.
It makes a satisfying splooge sound when you drop through it, you travel at speeds that would kill a normal person, and it creates an eerie glow from the tubule.
Reminds me of the stargates, but vertical.

In a gang war with a bunch of Front Yard Ballas, when a car exploded next to me.
Before that, I was slaughtering Imperial Guard by the dozens when suddenly artillery. My army was gone.

Games are GTA: San Andreas and Dawn of War.

Screwing around with pipes and pumps, placed down a redstone torch and the glitched sand over a pool of lava I was building on fell into the pool and I was toasted.

Just so i'm clear, which are the best marksmen, Nord Huscarls or Vaegir Archers?
