Glad you can find Kobolds.
I am a Kobold, and there's no Civ in the world (or the one before) with any in.  Still, targeting is fun.

Second awesome thing? Well, jumping into a river to escape bogies and drowning isn't really awesome...

Yeah, funny thing is that I found them by mistake, I fought there was only one human/dwarf/elf civ in the small world I was in.

I also jumped into a river, it also didn't work..

Bit off an octorok's tentacle and then threw it at it, destroying it's brain with the impact.  That'll teach im to break my sword arm with a spit rock.

Of course shortly afterwards I stumbled into a murky pool and drown... Ah adventure mode, how you can make even the most powerful demigod appear completely inept and pathetic, how I missed thee...

I just discovered that you can actually make your stats below average. Maybe not awesome to the general public, but this means min-maxing and creating a more unique character are both possible. Yay?

I'm just dissapointed that low linguistic skills doesn't give you a stutter, ssssibilance, or utterances.

Ooh I got another one..
I've done many quests with my current axedwarf, he's the one I told about fighting a huge force of goblins in an earlier post.

Now, I suddenly became criminal in the only city that has good soldiers, so I can't recruit anyone.
I got a quest to kill a Twilight Troll Consort, and I always forget that a Consort can have his companion and his child alongside him.

When the site was reached, I battled with a Twilight Troll for good 10 RL minutes, all attacks were aimed, the battle was really tactical.
The troll was hitting me easily, and I couldn't hit it..I thought I was dead when I lost the ability to grasp with one of my hands, but then:

Yep, the shield saved me. After this, I could hit the Troll (he was still kickin' though, took a while to kill).

I innocently thought that it was done, and I could use his house to sleep. Only to find a fight with his child next..which gave me a little beating but I managed to kill him with a opportunity-headstrike.

And again I tried to get inside...and I finally found the Consort.
The battle was a bit hard since I gave up on that char already..I mean, 3 trolls?

Finally. Now, to the next Trolls, and Goblins, that are a day's travel to the west.
And these were really the thoughest fights I ever had in adv mode.

Got attacked by a herd of Giant Desert Scorpions and survived. One of them cut off my foot, though.

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.

Do crutches work in adventure mode? I know you can buy them.

Well, I had a fairly good campaign, killing a bunch of Monsters, but...
I did get a single dagger 59 kills in a single night... The village didn't know what hit it...

He he he.  Yeah, it almost looks done...  alas...  those who are in your teens, hold on until your twenties...  those in your twenties, your thirties...  others, cling to life as you are able...
It should be pretty fun though.

The New Awesome: stampeding a herd of elephants through a bandit encampment in order to distract them/use up their bolts. :D
It worked! Unfortunately, I don't think I get credit if a wild animal stomped the warlord to death.

I've been enjoying the simpler things, Like not having to beat a sleeping child 7*10^800 Times to kill them.

Tis a long story. And I realized it was camels, not elephants. The elephants tried to gore me after fighting a Troll.
How Quesa Necrowing Killed a Half Dozen Bandits, with Camels

The short version: if you are skilled at "herding" scared animals, you can direct large numbers at your enemies, whereupon they will be trampled.

The very first battle, with a night creature consort. Was rather short - clashed axe against cleaver for a while, then made it lose its footing and shhhhirk.
