Trace more symbols.  QUICKLY!  Wonder if any of the other dwarves even survived, realize now isn't the time to be worrying about it then pick up the symbol if possible and see if there are any symbols on the bottom.

I'll trace the patterns I learned from the walls onto the symbol in a hard-boiled manner while praying to Zazit the Champion. I'll push anyone currently tracing on the symbol out of the way to make room.

Glance down the hall to observe whether the darkness is advancing or not.

You both try tracing symbols, but nothing works. Norrec tries prying it off the floor, but it's set solidly into the stone.

Kog nervously looks back, but there's no sign of impending doom.

Suddenly, Adil and Kogan pop into existence slightly above the ground, landing in puffs of dust.

"Huh, that was interesting. How long was I away, and what did I miss?"

Study the symbols on the wall if there are any in this room.

"Hey guys, I got some good news... Aexiesoen, that's the deity's name, he's grateful and stuff.  Blessed my axe in thanks.  I kinda offered to let him stay at the embark with us, incorporeal-like,  warning us about threats and stuff.  That's alright, right?"

Quickly follow the grimed dwarfette and the priest. Attempt to catch their attention.

Shem attempts to catch their attention, but has to settle for a flying tackle. Litast is now noticing you.

"Why are you yelling, and ... stop attacking him! What, did you go insane without us?"

I attempt to calm and restrain Norrec.

Be completely caught by surprise... but I think my axe was out.  Don't strike with it though.
"Aww, thanks kitty!"
"But, Norrec, why were you attacking me?"  Look hurt and confused.
