It's pretty easy to count.

1 zombie (isolated zombie) = no fear;
pack = 2-4 so you can be stuck;
horse = nono, only with a chainsaw!

1 zombie = 1 control point, 1 survivor = 2 control points. Read the manual and check the map.

Yeah, I managed to escape cause someone helped. I didn't know that I could access the map there so I stupidly walked north.

Well, now I know better =)

If you email them at contact@die2nite.com they might let you in. They let in in without any problems within the hour I e-mailed them =)

I've also e-mailed them, this looks like an awesome little game :)

I used to play a similar (kinda...) browser based zombie apocalypse game where you could walk around cities and build barricades/search etc, and as you got kills and such you'd get points to spend on your skills. A fun aspect was that if you got killed by a zombie you'd eventually revive as one and would have a completely different set of skills to use, and then you're objective was to kill survivors.

Survivors could bring you back, with the right equipment, but it was quite difficult. They could just kill you, but being undead, you'd eventually come back regardless, it would just take time. Despite that, it wasn't hard to survive for a long time as a survivor, even though there were ever mounting hoards of undead to deal with.

I forget the name I'm afraid, but I wonder if my description will prompt anyone's memory who's also played it.

Sounds like it can't be anything but Urban Dead to me...

Managed to find some steroids while I Was asleep though, so now I have enough AP to get back to town even with my injury. I just need to hope I can find a bandage in town or in this zone I'm in or I'm gonna get infected

Either way, it's going to be 18 people with... what, 16 defense against something like 30-40 zombies in this wave. I don't rate my chances very high regardless.

That sounds like it, aye. Urban Dead.

By the way, I got my invitation key :)

Right, I'm in game with Cernunnos, in Desert of the Headless, anyone else there?

Sounds like a really nice game but it seems that a invitation code is required or a sponsor from someone already in.

Does anyone know how to get this invitation code?

If you e-mail the staff of the site, tell them that you're interested in beta testing the game, then it's been our experience so far that they're happy to provide you an invitation key. Let them know what country you're in though, as the game's only available in some of them.

I am thinking the town of Hot Lazyness will fall tonight...
With 60-95 zombies estimated to come, that would wipe us all out...

I am hoping to get hero mode some time in the future. Perhaps we should not all get it and have a few get Hero mode to start a coalition so we can all work together...

Hi Lameth, I see you have joined me and Ozy in Desert of the Headless :D

P.S. Does anyone know what uses a torch has? Is it a defensive item, a furniture item, etc? I assume it runs out, but does anyone know how long it lasts?
