Canadians beat you. See the Halltraded succession thread. I explained it there. I don't want to have to type all that again.

Also not a fanboy. I just think he is badassed. Also Dumbeldore died because of bad guys, Anomander died because of a plan he created with the intention of dying. And he won.
Dumbledore's death was planned too.

Well, I don't read pop culture books. The more esoteric the better. Ever heard of Ayn Rand? No. Broaden your horizons people!

Both apply heavily to that post itself.

Gentlemen, I introduce the first rule of the Bay Twelve Forums:
  • It is infinitely fractual. No exceptions.

(I, of course, jest... But, what was this topic about, in the first place?)

I thought was already well known how often that happens here. (mostly down there, not nearly as much up hreer)

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Same here. Although it wasn't DF that planted me as an outcast, so much as my nerdiness. I kept my mad gamer skills and technology saviness in exchange for my social life. VERY nice trade, IMHO.
