From what I understand, the current (Trumpist, of course) CEO or whatever it is of whatever's at the top of administration pyramid related to that show has spent the last while basically fucking over the company's entire catalog of everything animated, plus much of its other lineup, too. You're seeing the results of astoundingly bad leadership, basically.

The people who came up with this (and the writers obviously) being real right wing makes sense actually.
They go "What do people like these days? Well they love woke stuff, that's totally obvious".
So then they say, lets make Shaggy black, that's so woke. And lets throw some lesbians and feminists in there too!

Of course since these people actually hate black people and feminists they write them as horrible parodies of what they are meant to represent.
The lesbian becomes a misandrist because of course being a lesbian means you hate men and think they are pathetic. Non-white people hate white people, because that was really what the whole BLM movement was really about, how only black lives matter and white lives are literally worthless.

Ok, let's stop blaming the writers and start blaming the producers/executives.  They're usually the ones that make these sort of changes.
