Apparently it’s cool for the health insurance company to continue to take my money and not pay for my healthcare if I haven’t answered their questions on having other insurance.

Why would I be paying you if I had other insurance?

It is, and some people got arrested for protesting. I think two people in England were arrested then de-arrested for having signs along the lines of “not my king” or “not elected”, while someone in Edinburgh has been arrested and charged for shouting at Prince Andrew while he was following the coffin procession, though the BBC neglected to say what was shouted.

To be fair, it's a bit more complex than just arrested for protesting.

Behaviour likely to cause a breach of the peace was brought into UK law to deal with the scenario in which British Nazis (the blackshirts) were going around and provoking people into fights, and then claiming self-defence. So Breach of Peace laws enable people who do behaviour that is clearly trying to provoke others around them into violence to be arrested and held liable for that clear provocative behaviour. But it doesn't cover clear protest.

Now, we find ourselves in a grey area this then creates: If you go up to a gathering of mourning monarchists that is also a precession of a new monarch, and shout "abolish the monarchy"...are you legitimately protesting against the precession of the new monarch, or are you engaging in behaviour that you could reasonably expect to be provoking the mourning monarchists to violence?

And then, if police feared the latter but wanted to give benefit of the doubt for the former, then you could argue escorting them away but then de-arresting them is the best option available to them.

He shouted "DISGUSTING!!!!" like a legend at sweaty Andrew. Now it's seriously bad form to heckle at a funeral procession, but the fact that the police are arresting him for heckling and not Andrew for being a statuatory rapist and a nonce is sad

That south park episode with the margarita economy thing has a guy who offers someone carmex and I'm like... wtf, as dumb as I am about social shit even I know better than to offer someone some carmex, but then the real wtf happened when I pictured myself saying 'Oh, sure...' then lifting my shirt and using my nipples like a pair of those manual orange juicers: *sqwik sqwik* *sqwik sqwik* '...thanks... sorry about the hair.'

Quote from: Some bloke on Reddit
THE QUEEN IS WATCHING YOU.

“Does The Queen exist?”

“Of course she exists. The Monarchy exists. The Queen is the embodiment of the Monarchy.”

“Does she exist like you or me?”

“You do not exist”, said the Metropolitan Judge.

There was nothing left in them except sorrow for what they had done, and love of The Queen. It was touching to see how they loved her. They begged to be shot quickly, so that they could die while their minds were still clean.

I just realized that the same emperor was head of Tamriel for the first 4 elder scolls games.

The same guy who got locked in oblivion was the same dude banging his subject's wives and allowing space-time contradictions was the same guy who shipped all his prisoners over to fantasy Australia in the hopes that one of them would murder the native's god was the same guy who had bastard children everywhere that all got assassinated in synchronization with him in a demon plot to overthrow the world.

Guy got around, had incredibly loose security (like opium addicted spymasters) and it all means that the champion, courier, neveraine, and obliviondude could all have met up at one point.

The time skip between Oblivion and Skyrim is something like five times as long as that between the start of Arena and the end of Oblivion.

Yeah, the time between each game was almost the same as the time of development of each, until Skyrim. It's a bit of a shame, really, as you can take the first four to be more about Uriel than the protagonists.

The biggest let down of Oblivion was the lack of imperial politics

Okay, the seco- third biggest, alright.
