The finches this year for some reason keep attacking the windows next to trees in which they have been roosting for the past 5 years.  I don't understand what's different about this year that's making them peck and fly into the windows.  They've never done it before... and it's like constant.

We've even put stickers on the window to try and scare them off... doesn't seem to be working.

Why would you put in a certain command into the right-click drop-down menu if said command can't be used trough that menu?

Apparently the good folks at google know because that's exactly what they fucking did with their docs editor which uses only hotkeys for c/p functions but still has buttons for them in the menus, those buttons only serve to remind you that they don't do anything and that you should use the hotkeys instead.

I just attempted to strike up a conversation over messenger with an old friend I haven't spoken to or interacted with or heard from in several years, apart from recently encountering her in one of those time-wasting mobile games linked to Facebook.

The heck am I doing? Surely I have enough awkward social interactions and wilting, neglected friendships to keep track of as it is. Oh well. Challenging myself to seek out unusual socialisation is probably a healthy pastime for me.

I decided that it wasn't quite cold enough for me to get up and scrounge for my blanket, but it was cold enough that I should double my sheet over. Thankfully I also had a shirt at the bottom of my bed which I could use to give my feet a bit of extra insulation seeing as I needed to lie perfectly straight under the half-width sheet.

Boy that was a horrid night. Next time I'll just get up.

My hair might have caused a major crisis in a friends relationship. And yes, it is just as stupid as it sounds.

See, I'm a guy but I have hair almost past my ellbows in lenght. Last weekend my friend and I were driving around in his car a lot, running various errands.
Today his girlfriend took the car for a spin and now she is freaking out because she found long blonde hair in the car, which obviously aren't hers (she has black hair) and so who do they belong to?!

Apparently "you know Cy, you know he has longer hair then you and that we spent about 10 hours inside that damn car this weekend" (ironically helping her nephew move, amongst other things) isn't a valid answer to this query.

I'm torn between feeling sorry for him and being amused by this whole mess.
