Stupid is also not monolithic. i have always been of the opinion that you can be selectively very stupid on certain subjects while being perfectly intelligent otherwise. my uncle is basically that.

I was a minor at the time, and boy did it drive me nuts. To be fair she's gotten much better.

At one point she was sure that Pikachu was derived from the Egyptian Book of the Dead in order to expose me to occult practices. I pointed out that Pikachu was from Japan, where they probably don't dig up copies of that particular tome very often. This helped her feel better.

She's actually quite intelligent, she's got degrees and runs her own business. Dem chain emails, tho.

well it's always crashed regularly on my laptop so i sorta thought he was being facetious, i've only ever had it run particularly well in a desktop

besides he asked what the name was and i think 'open alpha' sums it up in the proverbial nutshell

This is actually a new development for me. Its reasonably stable with encrypted saves disabled. But now it just ctds without an error message or anything in the errorlog or gamelog. Running smoothly, then gone, like it was never there. This is the same shit that was happening with the skyrim creation kit, and still does.

if its happening between multiple programs your computer might be boned, but i assume you thought that already. does it happen w/ all programs, or just those two?

Found out the reason my mom thinks that multiple driving schools stack for the purpose of driving insurance is because she asked a friend who works in insurance, who told her it does.
