Frequent nosebleeds can be amazing. I still need to get my nose cauterized, but I used to fire off copious amounts of blood much more frequently than I do now. Not only did this keep my humors balanced and get me out of classes, it gave me the best opportunities for responses when someone asked if I was alright.

Looking straight in a casually worried person's eyes whilst you have blood running down your face, waiting a beat to let your eyes unfocus, and then saying "They're Here" is one of the best ways to inject a little surrealism into someone's day.
