Haha, I usually manage to stop myself from sending/posting too many stupid messages whilst drunk (thank
the GodsBacchus), but I remember one time having a text conversation with a friend in another state as he got completely wasted (neither of us were hardened drinkers back then) and tried to describe how he was doing.
Stumbling upon those messages still saved on an old phone of mine years later was quite amusing.
Still, I know how you feel. Often I find myself discovering clues, like a receipt from a 7-11 somewhere giving a hint as to where I wound up the night before, or a mustard stain on my clothes suggesting I must have stopped for food at my favourite hot dog place. Man, I haven't been on a good binge in a while. I miss living closer to a city.
...And living with half-decent people. I do have friends in this state, and I hung out with some of them last weekend which was fun. But it's extremely (compared to most places I've lived) expensive just to get to the city from the town I'm in, which puts a dampener on things.
In my own WTF: Sounds like my housemates are fighting again. Wonder how far this disagreement is going to escalate.
They (the two who are more-or-less a couple) seem to argue and reconcile fairly regularly, though. Probably because they both live in the same house and neither wants to leave due to the place's convenience. Does that count as an unhealthy relationship, or what? Who cares, so long as they don't crash through the wall/door into my room as they duke it out. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
