It probably doesn't count time spent in menus or in loading waits.

Unless you're talking about Steam's in-game counter.

It takes me something like an hour and a half to two hours to beat Super Metroid in 50 minutes.

Here's Zoast 100%ing it in 45 minutes, taking a total of 1:15.

EDIT: what the fuck this geemer dislodge damage boost

Got a bit o'chug, in other words. I've seen worse. Can't remember the game but I do remember playing one for far too long, getting about one second game time for every three or four real. The in game playing time and steam hours tracked was... not congruent. Seen worse than that, too, but that's about the worst I've been willing to deal with and still play. The wonders of minimum system specs (and occasionally cpu throttling, for love of unscorched crotch.).

Beware, washing your skin too much can aggravate oil production and ultimately only make you greasier.

No, there isn't 'loading' and the menu is like, a minute at most.  It just gets slow, apparently.

So guys... I have a bit of an issue

I pissed off a voodoo (ok Voodoine) priestess... and now I am being haunted by her ancestor spirit goddess who is managing to kill everyone around me that I interact with.

Should I have a second date or should I consider this a sign that we just aren't compatible?

Considering the fact that I'm still alive, what game are you playing?

I think the coolest thing about Hypnos in Lovecraft (Not sure if Lovecraft wrote about him or it was someone else)

Is that USUALLY he is a positive character in that his appearance aids the protagonists instead of hinders them.

Yet when he takes off his mask it is revealed that he is basically a Lovecraftian god... Just one with motivations that often coincide with the protagonists (it also has a small hint that perhaps all the non-lovecraftian gods in lovecraft might in fact be lovecraftian as well.)

Not that this sort of difference in motivations is unusual.

---

Mind you there was a bad writer who took the lovecraftian gods and tried to make a good versus evil sort of thing...

Writers if your going to write Lovecraft... It is better to think of "good" gods as neutral AND to remember that they are completely outmatched... Though as I say this I remember Nodens... So what do I know?

Compare her and Tyrion's solutions to Slaver's Bay.

The sad part is, Tyrion's solution didn't work. Denerys's somehow has.

Pretending the Author is competent.

One reason is Tyrion's extension might have done two things
1) Gave people time to force the illegal activities further underground
and
2) Proved that you aren't MAN enough to actually do it!

Either works...

Not that the dragon solution would typically work in real life... Deny might be powerful but she lacks one thing in particular... Micromanagement...

Luckily she lives in a fantasy world where no actual issue will befall her. Just made up ones.

I probably don't need my browser session saved to SSD/HDD every 15 seconds. Apparently Chrome has this 'feature' as well.

Huh. From browsing the comments there it looks like having adblockers and scriptblockers helps cut down on extraneous data writing quite a bit, so I'm probably fine. Still, though. I wonder if there's a "URL only" mode for session store? It'd be a lot lighter and really all I'd need.
