Really though, Roman fetish was a huge thing in the world during the early and mid period of the empire. Roman citizenship basically gave you tons of rights nobody else had. There's a bunch of stories how Paul the Apostle trolled local non roman authorities by allowing them to whip and imprison him, then going "btw guys I'm a roman citizen" and everyone else would shit bricks and go OMG PLS FORGIV

Its also the one thing that stopped Paul from being lynched/murdered by the jewish priesthood during his last visit to Jerusalem and was basically a huge middle finger to the high priest, since having Paul be under Roman jurisdiction basically made him untouchable up to the point he got sent to Rome by appealing to caesar's court, which was a right every roman citizen had.

Not really (at the greek part). Greeks actually frowned upon promiscuity. Grown men could only lay with their wife and teenage boys (no adult ones), and exceeding these... limitations was seen as barbaric and animal-like.
