Yeah I can't recommend it unfortunately. It just... it is heart breaking.

The only thing keeping me from being truly disappointed, beyond the price, is that Magicka 1 wasn't really amazing either.

While eugenics is a touchy subject, just think about it this way: if you execute a person, they are removed from the gene pool. Thus, you can get a similar effect by removing them from the gene pool but refraining from killing them.

And on that line of thought. You can't acquit executed criminals anyways.

How do you explicitly prove someone is a mass murderer? People get framed all the time. Gelding is a good deterrent, while still leaving the criminal alive in the chance that they were framed.

Alternatively, we could wait unti lwe perfect cryostasis, and then chuck criminals into indefinite cryostasis.
