oh god, if i want to make a Dwarf Fortress to CK2 converter I'm going to need to make something to convert the maps that DF gives you into... uh, actually pretty similar maps, but... like, that's. A lot of work. For not too much gain. It seems like DF-converted world mods would end up being sorta gray goo ish and I would rather play, I dunno, the vanilla game.

Its okay, putnam. Your sleep-brain can invent stupidly insane new ideas through the powers of DREAM. Just think of it like an extended brainstorming session that takes up 1/3 of your time. You just need to take note of those ideas.

Funny thing is I immediately assumed I knew the patreon Neo's talking about (and it would... probably be a violation of forum guidelines to share).
But more likely, it's just a depressingly common occurrence.  Sunk costs and all that...  If they jump ship now they don't get those theoretical updates which may start coming any day now, they swear.
