A judge decided to suspend whatsapp across the whole damn country for 48 hours. The reason is "classified", but journalists are speculating that a request to break an user's privacy was denied and this is a form of retaliation.

An update on the WTF: looks like another judge decided the above was utterly moronic and the proper way to punish whomever owns whatsapp is to fine, not block, them.

That was a state court judge who rescinded that decision because it was utterly absurd, since it basically does almost nothing with the party the decision was intended to affect, since they also own facebook messenger and recommended all whatsapp users temporarily switch to it while the issue is resolved, but causes a lot of trouble for whatsapp users, who temporarily lose access to their whatsapp contacts/messages/etc.

Even the most reserved jurists attacked that decision openly on social networks, and there's a good chance that judge is going to be penalized for it.

So I went and watched the movie today. I generally enjoyed it... BUT......

I found it to be so, spartic with how they dealt with the characters and introducing them and so forth. Like, who was this new Commander that was beside Ren? He seems important, but fuck me if I didn't know who he was by the end of the episode, Grand Moff Tarkin, Ep4 Badguy, had more stage presence then this guy. Granted Tarkin's name had to be googled for the spelling, I remember whom he was and what his job was. And his Status at the end is unknown, I know Stoke told him to leave, but I can't remember seeing him getting away...
Captain Phasma, the Stormtrooper in Chrome, only stood out cause 1; Female Stormtrooper and 2; The armour. Thats it, she didn't even have much of a role after a few lines and appearances. Not to mention that her status at the end of the movie either, did she die in a Trashcompactor or escape the exploding planet or something, I DO NOT KNOW...

Did anyone else feel that the story didn't really explain anything half the time??? I mean come on... It was still a good Starwars movie, but even Ep1 had more enjoyment and character development on their characters then this one...

It happens. Some devices even have the admin password hardcoded into the hardware. There was a bit of fuss about baby monitors a bit back that did that.

Nobody lost a hand/arm to a lightsaber, despite there being more than one less-than-lethal duel with them. That was pretty much a running gag in the older movies, come on.

Good movie otherwise, though. Do recommend.
